A beautiful experience at the Hotel Suite Vill Maria
This really is a wonderful hotel. But what makes it great is the staff, all staff we encountered were happy to help and smiling. They look relaxed at work and that’s a great thing.
Everything was smooth from start to finish and nothing was a trouble for them. They sorted car rental for us too which was smooth. Enjoyed a wonderful massage in the hotel spa. Breakfast was varied and great choices. The pool areas are beautiful and we were two of only maybe ten people at any one time, plenty of regular and Bali beds.
The villas are beautiful, we stayed in villa 76 and we had two balconies, very spacious. Our one bedroom villa had two bathrooms.
Definitely a five star experience. We cannot wait to return.

Back again
After a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Hotel Suite Villa Maria with our family to celebrate our 50th anniversary in 2025 my wife and i decided to return on our own this year. Rather than a 2 bedroom villa this time we opted for the one bedroom villa which was smaller but totally adequate for what we wanted. there were some small changes - reception had moved but importantly the on site shop open hours had been extended. Very handy, you don't want to be carrying water up the hill. Once again the staff at the hotel were brilliant. The gentleman who seems to be running bot the dinner restaurant and often at breakfast was constantly cheery, friendly and helpful. I had problems connecting my tablet with the wifi (phone no issue) and after stupidly trying to fic it myself for several days went to reception who sorted it in minutes. Great service.
La Caleta has some lovely restaurants which we visited. This year without the need to stick close to family we discovered the nearby nature park and walk along the coast to the north. Bit of a trek up yet another hill/steps but certainly worth it.
Great hotel and staff. Fantastic breakfast. Have already booked to return in 2027.

Just Fabulous
Great staff! Really friendly and attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Cleaning staff especially, our apartment was spotless and no detail was missed.
Its easy to tell that this hotel maintains its decor and grounds all year round, its so well kept.
Honestly the cleanest and most beautiful place I have stayed in a while.
The breakfast is AMAZING, massive choice and quality of food.
Excellent and would recommend 100%

Very enjoyable week at Villa Maria
I loved the architecture and landscaping of the resort, it's really well done and whilst obviously purpose built has a traditional Canarian feel to it. Compared to pretty much every other development in the wider area that's something that really stood out. Villas themselves are very nicely furnished and ours (52) had a hot tub and patio with views towards the coast and the mountains behind. 2 good sized pools, cafe, shop and terrace bar which was great for watching the sunsets. Minor niggle that the a/c controls in our villa didn't seem to adjust the temperature, but it was fine set as it was.
The atmosphere of the hotel was just right for us, peaceful in the evening (there were musicians in the terrace bar around 7pm most days though) and relaxed but friendly during the day. It's a different atmosphere to resorts in Costa Adeje, Las Americas etc. As others say, it's a 10-15 min walk from La Caleta and uphill on your way back. Having a car helps get out and about and see Tenerife properly, which we felt was important.
Breakfast was decent, never tried the restaurant of an evening as it seemed a bit overpriced, better value restaurants in La Caleta.
Staff were all helpful and friendly. One area the hotel could improve is being a bit more generous on amenities (replenish coffee pods and water, providing a welcome pack).
