Good experience

Excellent price-quality ratio. Good location, large, comfortable room, very clean.
Extremely friendly staff, affable even though we arrived at 9pm, after having denied us accommodation in Portugal in the Segura area.
Parking outside the hotel.
Have breakfast in the cafeteria just below the hotel where they have the lowest prices and honest prices.
I really liked it and I'm going to share it.

Bad and hostile treatment. Unprofessional

Dire deal looks like they're doing you a favor. The guy who's in the morning maudlin and unsympathetic.

A gem

My wife and I were traveling through Alcantara and stopped for lunch at the restaurant. The food on the menu del dia was basic, peasant food. But every morsel we had, from the olives and bread, to the paella and fideua, to the stuffed chicken breast and roast pork, were far from average. Throw in the bottle of local red wine and a tariff of $20 for the 2 of us, and you can't beat it.
We were tired from a long day and leery of driving after consuming a bottle of wine, so asked if they had a room available. We were very lucky. It was a bank holiday and there was only one room left. The room was an apartment in a separate building up the street from the restaurant. It was fabulous. It was neat and clean and comfortable and it had a kitchen.
My wife and I had been worried because the hotel has a 1 star rating. What a surprise! We like the room better than the room at the 4 star hotel the previous night. This place is not rated correctly.

UN ESTABLECIMIENTO ECONÓMICO Y PRÁCTICO

En la localidad extremeña de ALCÁNTARA, se encuentra el HOTEL PUENTE ROMANO, que cuenta con una zona antigua y otra más moderna. Las habitaciones muy sencillas, prácticas y limpias, ofrecen lo justo para una pequeña estancia en la localidad. Sin más. Cuentan con aire acondicionado, imprescindible para pasar las noches de verano y no cuenta con ascensor.

Económico y comida muy buena

Hemos pedido el menú y la verdad es que nos ha sorprendido, tanto en calidad como en cantidad, todo muy rico y un servicio muy agradable y eficiente. Totalmente recomendable para visitar el puente romano.
