Brilliant family resort
A brilliant place for a family to visit. Lots of activities to keep everyone occupied. The entertainment team were excellent; with kids shows every night which ours loved. The whole resort made everything easy. Which was good for us as we have a 3 and 5 year old. The walk to the beach was around 10 minutes and totally worth it. Clean smooth sand and shallow, calm seas.

Lovely complex ... brilliant staff
We've just returned from a 7 day holiday here and it was great. It os quite a big complex broken into several areas. We were in Sea Breeze which has around 30 apartments and has its own pool, restaurant and bar. We had 2 studios and a 1 bed apartment. They are very spacious and spotlessly clean as are all areas in the complex. It is maintained to a very high standard. I don't think you could find better more friendlier or helpful staff. They are a delight. The entertainment is ok and what you would expect from holiday entertainment ... not brilliant but passes an evening. There are plenty of activities for all the family. It is less than 10 minutes from the beach and also the hydropark which is a good day out. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is that the choice of food is fine but we have experienced a much wider choice of food where we have stayed previously at 4 star accommodation.

Pleasant stay with Seaclub Alcudia
We have stayed for a week. The room was nice and clean. Perfect for a family of 4. Also friendly and lovely staff, special Ricardo at seashell restaurant. He is amazing and always make us feel welcome and also good with the kids. Very impressed that he can some norwegian.

Mosquitoes, indifferent staff, average food and thieves on site. Not a four star experience and a disappointing stay
We have just returned from a week’s stay and were disappointed with our experience. Many people seemed to enjoy the resort, but we felt it fell well short of four-star expectations, with several issues throughout our stay.
The resort is surrounded by stagnant lakes that smell and attract mosquitoes. There were also mosquitoes and ants in our apartment due to gaps under the doors. The pool areas often had litter (Block D was the cleanest pool we visited), and the water was murky, with hair, plasters and sun cream floating in it. There was also no enforcement of the stated policy against reserving sun loungers early in the morning.
The air conditioning didn’t work. Thankfully, there was a large fan in the living room, where our children slept, but the bedrooms were unbearably hot. On our second night, I called reception to report the issue, explaining that we had a four-month-old baby with us. We didn’t see anyone come. After calling again, I requested an additional fan, which didn’t arrive until late that evening. Throughout our stay, we never saw anyone attempt to fix the air conditioning despite the heatwave and baby and young children staying in our room. The communal areas were also uncomfortably hot, with only ceiling fans and no air conditioning, so on several evenings we returned to our room or ate elsewhere instead of using the restaurant. On one occasion, my husband ordered a piña colada but was served a strawberry version instead. When he pointed it out, the waiter simply replied, “This is better.”
The shower temperature constantly fluctuated between scalding hot and freezing cold, with the controls bearing little relation to the actual temperature. This was particularly concerning with young children. The bathrooms also need attention, with mould around the door frames and silicone that needs replacing. Apart from the floors being mopped, the apartment was not cleaned during our week’s stay. I ended up cleaning it myself with wet wipes before buying my own cleaning products.
When we arrived, there wasn’t enough bedding for the number of guests on our booking, so I had to call reception for another set. Unfortunately, this wasn’t a one-off mistake. Throughout the holiday, housekeeping frequently left us without enough towels or bedding (and housekeeping doesn’t visit daily), so I had to call reception several times. The bedding and towels often had marks on them too. After one of our children had an accident, I requested fresh bedding. I was told someone would bring it but that I would have to make the bed myself because it wasn’t a housekeeping day. They delivered only a sheet and a towel, with no replacement pillowcase or duvet cover, despite taking the old ones away so knowing we needed them.
To make matters worse, after a visit to the beach we left our sandals outside our private entrance overnight to avoid bringing sand into the apartment, intending to rinse them at the outdoor showers the following morning. That evening, the hotel allowed a noisy group to remain around the pool late into the night. By morning, our sandals had been stolen. Initially, the staff became defensive, assuming I was accusing them (perhaps because this happened the day after I posted a negative review). They said they would check the CCTV, but we never received any follow-up or had our belongings returned.
Breakfast was generally good and well stocked, although not everything appeared fresh. The scrambled eggs often had a thick skin on them, which I watched staff stir back in rather than replace. On a few mornings, there was also visible white mould on some of the fruit. Thankfully, we had only booked bed and breakfast, as the lunch and dinner options on the two occasions we ate them were salty and beige, and any salad amounted to little more than a small serving of iceberg lettuce. Even our children didn’t enjoy the food.
On a positive note, there is a good range of facilities, including kids’ clubs, activities, entertainment, multiple pools and evening shows. The apartments are also spacious enough for families, and the main bed was comfortable.
Overall, I would not return or recommend this resort based on the price we paid and the experience we had. I found most of the staff indifferent at best and rude at worst. Having personal belongings stolen, repeatedly having to request basic linen for the number of guests on our booking, and dealing with so many avoidable issues meant this was far from the relaxing, four-star family holiday we had saved and looked forward to for so long.

We had a very good stay. Many pools and areas to stay at, never experienced that it was crowded. Very fun for children with activities, pool, playgrounds, green areas to run on. The apartment was well cleaned and we had nice views towards one of the pools. Close to everything, the beach within five minutes walk.
