Friendly and good value

I have stayed twice at Hotel Sevilla and it is great value for money and a decent place to stay for the odd night or two. Handily located, as most hotels are in Almeria, but the single rooms whilst simple offer much. The only downside are the pillows, which are a tad soft for me. Not a huge problem as I got a good night's sleep. I come to Almeria once a year and always look to stay here for the first night. Most impressive experience though has been the friendly attentive staff on reception.

Good

Good hotel for the price; nothing fancy, but a good place to rest and sleep, and also a good central location. Having said that the walls are paper thin, so to some degree it's a gamble- you may indeed end up with someone who snores loudly next door.

Staff were attentive. But you get exactly what you paid for, very simple outdated room with paper thin walls. We were kept up much of the night because neighbors were just talking. Walking up to the third floor, previous floors smelled dank and a bit of smoke. Tiny bathroom. Good water pressure. Not dirty. Good location. Front desk keeps your key when you leave. It makes me uncomfortable to leave promises without a jet to my room.

Very friendly welcome and the hotel is conveniently located near coffee shops and other shops. The single bedroom I stayed in was clean and very functional. It has been modernised and I particularly liked the small spotlight in the headrest of the bed. Unfortunately the pillow was so soft, I failed to get a good night's sleep, which is what you want from a stay. As soon as I put my head on the pillow I was practically touching the mattress. I tried to put towels for extra support for my head under the pillow but it only partially helped.
