Perfect

The best is the treatment of the staff, they would like to have such good workers, pleasant, attentive, friendly, the food is homemade and very good, the truth is that I would repeat without a doubt. My congratulations. Pretty good price quality

Lovely

The rooms were clean and had everything we needed for a weekend break. Good location to explore local villages and sufficient breakfast options , local foods and friendly and helpful staff. Lovely garden and outdoor eating at the back

Nice place

Had a good stay at the hotel. Had everything you need. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Would make a great base to explore this wonderful area of Spain. I look forward to coming back in the future.

Had an excellent lunch away from tourist trap

For what is was, this place was excellent. We were a little before the lunch crowd so we got attentive service for food allergies. Server was extremely friendly and food was very tasty. Lots of locals eat here, some pull up on their tractor.

Value for money if you're travelling by car

Hostal San Luis is good if you have a car and do not want to contend with the busy congested streets of Cordoba. Rooms are small and basic but very clean, the upstairs rooms have a balcony to relax on. It has a very good breakfast area where they supply a nice Spanish style breakfast including freshly squeezed orange juice and excellent coffee. Easy to find with plenty of parking and about 20 minutes out of Cordoba. We drove into the city, parking just out of the busy areas near the Aldi Arena and then walked in which is fine if you are reasonably fit. Rooms have no hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities which is usual for a lot of Europe so we always travel with a small kettle and so don't have a problem. There was free WiFi but only in the lobby area.
