Great Hotel, Basic All Inclusive
The hotel is a stones throw from the golden mile and a few minutes walk to the beach front absolutely perfect location.
We travelled as a family of 4 children 10m & 3 the hotel was perfect for this age range with the heated pool and small splash park. They also have an indoor soft play which our 3 year old loved.
Staff are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are spacious enough and well laid out.
The all inclusive isn't great food is ok and you will find something but returning we would come half board.
Some cocktails are included at certain times or chargeable if made by a bar tender which is confusing and unnecessarily complicated.
This is a great hotel if travelling with young children and in a perfect location. We will definitely return.
We had little bears and luggage tags on arrival which our boys loved.

Expelled from the hotel with my two children although I was not involved in the missing-money complaint
I was travelling with my friend Nadia, who was staying separately with her child.
During the stay, Nadia discovered that €150 in cash was missing from her room. This concerned her room, her belongings and the police report she subsequently filed. I did not have any money missing from my own room and I was not involved in the original missing-money complaint.
I supported my friend during her discussions with the hotel because she was upset and the situation was difficult for her.
After Nadia followed the hotel’s instructions and filed a report with the Policía Nacional, she met with Elisa from the hotel. I joined the discussion to support my friend and to express my concern about the way the situation was being handled.
The conversation became tense and I expressed my dissatisfaction strongly.
What I still find extremely difficult to understand is what happened next.
I had my own room and my own separate booking. I had not reported any missing money, had not requested any reimbursement and was not the person who filed the police complaint. My involvement was supporting my friend during her discussion with the hotel.
Despite this, I was also told that I had to leave the hotel immediately, together with my two children.
We asked to be allowed to remain until the following morning because our stay had not yet ended. This request was refused.
We were required to collect our belongings immediately and leave the hotel with the children.
I want to be clear that my review is not an accusation about who was responsible for the missing money. I am describing what happened to me personally as a result of the situation that followed.
For me, the most serious issue is that my children and I were required to leave my separately booked room because of a dispute arising from another guest’s missing-money complaint.
I still do not understand the precise basis on which my own stay was terminated.
A formal complaint has also been submitted to Alexandre Hotels concerning the way this situation was handled.
I would strongly encourage future guests to read the recent reviews of this hotel carefully before booking. In particular, use the review search function and look for terms such as “theft”, “stolen”, “missing money”, “money missing”, “cash”, “valuables”, “luggage”, “room”, “safe”, and “police”.
It may also be useful to search the same terms in French and Spanish, for example: “vol”, “argent disparu”, “objets volés”, “robo”, “dinero desaparecido”, “efectivo”, and “objetos de valor”.
My own experience concerns the way I was expelled with my two children despite not being involved in the original missing-money complaint.
I believe prospective guests should read the different accounts, as well as the hotel’s responses to those reviews, and make up their own minds.
I am sharing my experience because I was personally affected by the decision to remove us from the hotel despite not being involved in the original missing-money complaint.

You, like your friend who commented below (Nadouche), behaved aggressively towards hotel staff and guests. For this reason, we were obliged to call the police. Seeing that your behavior did not change upon the police's arrival, we were forced to ask you to leave the hotel to prevent further disturbances to guests and staff. Therefore, we want to make it clear that neither you nor your friend called the police. THE HOTEL CALLED THE POLICE DUE TO YOUR EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR.
The hotel has rules of conduct that must be respected. When these rules are not followed and staff or other guests are affected by your bad behavior, we reserve the right to refuse admission.
Regards,
Hotel Management

Cash disappeared from our room, police report filed, then we were expelled with our children
We stayed at Alexandre La Siesta from 12 August 2026. During our stay, I discovered that €150 in cash was missing from a bag that I kept inside the wardrobe in my room. I had also noticed that some of my belongings had been moved and that my suitcases appeared to have been opened.
I immediately reported this to reception. The hotel staff told me to file a police report and said that this step was necessary. I therefore spent approximately 3.5 hours at the Policía Nacional station, where an official report was filed regarding the missing €150.
While I was at the police station, my friend spoke with another guest at the hotel who told her that she had also discovered that €300 was missing during her stay.
When I returned, I was offered a meeting the following day with a manager named Elisa.
During that meeting, she told me that my case was an isolated one, that there had never been any problem with theft at the hotel, and that no reimbursement would be made. However, we have since found other Tripadvisor reviews published in 2026 that also mention missing money or suspected theft from rooms.
The discussion became tense. My friend, extremely upset by the situation, expressed her anger in front of other guests. I asked for the police to be called.
A technician then checked the access records for our room, but we were given no clear explanation of what the check showed or who had accessed the room.
The situation then took a turn we never expected: the manager decided that we had to leave the hotel immediately.
We were two women travelling with our respective children. Our final night had already been paid for. We asked to be allowed to leave the following day as originally planned, or at the very least to be refunded for the final night. Both requests were refused.
With the police present, we were required to collect all our belongings immediately and leave the hotel. We then had to find and pay for alternative accommodation for our final night.
For me, the most shocking part is not only the disappearance of the €150, which of course must be established through the police investigation. It is also the way our complaint was handled: after following the hotel's own instructions and filing a police report, we ended up being expelled from the hotel with our children and without being refunded for the night we had already paid for.
A formal complaint has now been submitted to the management of Alexandre Hotels, together with a copy of the report filed with the Policía Nacional.
I am posting this review so that future guests are aware of our experience and so that the management of Alexandre Hotels understands the seriousness of what happened.

We must issue a firm clarification regarding the particularly serious accusations made in your review.
You directly accuse members of our staff of committing several thefts, without providing any evidence to substantiate such an accusation. As soon as you informed us of the alleged disappearance of money, the hotel advised you on the correct procedure in this type of situation: to file an official police report so that an investigation could be conducted through the appropriate legal channels. We assisted you with your police report and at no point did we ignore your situation, refuse to help you, or attempt to conceal anything.
However, you demanded that the hotel immediately return a sum of money to you without any justification or any ruling establishing any responsibility on the part of the establishment or its employees. Such a request cannot be granted. In a situation of this nature, the hotel must respect legal procedures and allow the competent authorities to conduct the necessary investigations.
We must also be very clear about the circumstances under which you were asked to leave the hotel. It is completely false to present this decision as an attempt to silence your complaint or to cover up an alleged theft. The decision was made due to your repeated behavior within the hotel. Despite the explanations given to you and the assistance provided by our team, the situation escalated into shouting, insults, blows struck against various items in the hotel, and aggressive behavior towards members of our staff. You also accosted and harassed other guests, disrupting their stay.
Such behavior cannot be tolerated in our hotel under any circumstances. We have a responsibility to all our guests and staff and must guarantee a respectful and safe environment for everyone. It is precisely for this reason that the police were called and that you were asked to leave the hotel. To then present the police presence and intervention as any kind of "complicity" with management is a particularly serious and completely unfounded accusation. The police act in accordance with the law and intervene precisely when necessary to maintain order and the safety of all those involved.
We also regret that you refer to children present during the incident. The presence of children makes the observed behavior all the more regrettable, but it cannot justify the shouting, insults, aggressive behavior, or disturbances caused to other guests. This type of behavior is incompatible with the basic rules of respect that we require in our establishment.
The hotel assisted you with your complaint, directed you to the appropriate authorities, and followed all applicable procedures. What ultimately led to your departure from the establishment was not your complaint, but your behavior and the repeated disturbances you caused within the hotel.
Given the seriousness of the accusations made in this notice, we wish to reiterate that we firmly reject any insinuation that the hotel's management or staff committed or covered up any theft.
Sincerely,
Elisa García
