Decent hotel.

Decent hotel. Small pool
but enough to take a dip. We had the spa, and it was closed due to construction. Given this setback, we were compensated with full board. Everything was fine. I must add that the service from the waiter Javier was very attentive.

Very good value for money with an embarrassing dinner

The value for money is magnificent.
But there are two things to improve: only one umbrella in the entire hotel for the pool.
The dinner situation is a real embarrassment; they should pay you to eat there, and the customer shouldn't be the one paying.
I doubt the hotel manager has ever stopped by the dining room; if he had, he would be ashamed.

Pitiful breakfast and dinner.

Disappointing hotel regarding the buffet, both at breakfast and dinner; I have never seen such a pitiful dinner, not even in a 2-star hotel. I do not recommend it at all.

Not a 4-star hotel. It only has appearance but fails in what is important the comfort rooms pool odor etc

A lot of things. Starting from the room full of moisture, with an awful smell of moisture and ground raised for the same reason. They changed them to another, with an intense smell, looked like a wooden factory. WC without bath gel/shampoo. We ordered at the reception and did not put. On the second day of stay there was no hot water throughout the hotel, we could not take a bath. The next day, the day of check-out, we could not take a bath, there was no hot water or bath gel / shampoo. The hotel's pool, in addition to looking like a tank, smaller than a children's pool, only opens at 12:00. In the pool / grass / paddle field space there is no garbage dump. We had an ice cream and had to keep the ice cream papers in our wallet. Breakfast: The part of the drinks is terrible, all the juices seem to have only water with a little taste for something. Coffee, cappuccino, etc., it seems that we continue to drink water with color and smell to something. The only thing you could eat was bread, eggs, fruit and little more. For a 4-star hotel, very bad. It just looks right, the rest fails everything. It is regrettable to know that they know of these problems that the hotel has, because while I made my complaint, other guests would complain of other things, such as the tap that did not stop pouring water as if it was always open, others again with the humidity of the rooms. I asked to be returned the money I paid, because only there I went to sleep and with a horrible smell, neither bath I took in two days, and they have the can to neither assume nor return a service that I paid and didn't have. We are talking about the basics: room with a normal smell and hot water.
Those who choose this hotel think well before choosing it, besides that it is not well located. There's nothing near you will always have to ride by car and make miles.

Never again

My stay at Villa Augusta left me with a very uncomfortable feeling. The hotel itself is beautiful, the setting is peaceful, and the facilities are pleasant. Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by what felt like repeated differences in how I was treated compared to other guests. Throughout my week-long stay, I was asked on several occasions to pay for food and drinks immediately, while I observed other guests simply signing the bill and paying later. At the bar, I noticed that other tables were consistently served small complimentary snacks like olives, chips, or tapas. During my entire stay, I was never offered any. On one occasion, I specifically asked a staff member if I could have some. She said yes, walked away, and never came back. After waiting around fifteen minutes, I had to go back and ask again myself. At breakfast, despite being the only Black guest I had seen, I was repeatedly asked for my room number while guests arriving at the same time were not asked. When I politely asked why I was the only one being checked, the staff member actually already knew my room number from memory, which made it even harder to understand why I was being singled out. None of these incidents alone proves discrimination, but experiencing them repeatedly over and over again left me with a strong feeling that I was not being treated the same as other guests. As a Black woman paying around1000 euros for a week's stay, this was deeply disappointing and honestly quite painful. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously, reviews how guests are treated, and ensures that everyone receives
that everyone receives the same level of service, respect and hospitality, regardless of appearance or skin colour.
