DANGER TO YOUR PET
This house is not safe for pets, although it is advertised as ̈pet-friendly ̈. We went with our puppy, with the express premise of the owner, that she submissive and sweet, could be loose throughout the estate, which is why we decided for this establishment, shortly after arriving, her dog, bit our puppy on several occasions without its owner being present. My husband and I had to get it off her because her owner was not present NEGLECT.
If you offer a pet-friendly space you must guarantee a safe environment!!
They only gave us iodine and because I went to ask for it!! Until then nobody showed up!! and I had to hear him tell me : that the reason was because his dog that he already knew, was territorial and was at home, far from being hospitable since they run a rural house where they house human and canine guests *pet-friendly*. IF YOU CHARGE FOR HOSTING PETS YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SAFE ENVIRONMENT.
We didn’t sleep all night Lupita, she was in a lot of pain, crying, terrified, inflamed, bleeding, not sleeping, not doing her needs because of the same fear, not eating, tense, trembling with fear, in a state of alarm and with spasms to this day my little girl is still under visits and clinical evaluation imagine the seriousness of the subject.
NO more help, no more vet, no apology. He took the responsibility off trying to minimize the incident at all times with absurd arguments.
He told me he had no claim book and refused to give me an invoice ♪ BREAKING THE LAW ♪
Everything stated here I can credit, I do not show here by LPD. Please, if you're traveling with your dog, DON'T COME. There is real risk of attack and ZERO LIABILITY.
Attached photograph to see Lupita a helpless sweet puppy that just wanted to play. That's how confident I got to the estate because the owner told us I could go free 2 hours later I was terrified inflamed and bleeding.

Perfect stay in idyllic location
The house is located next to a creek, in the middle of a rural environment, out of sight of any other civilization, and everything is the way it was 100 years ago...so you might expect creaky faucets, damp walls, bugs and heavy wool blankets. Instead, you find everything has been renewed - keeping the old style, including visible enlaced cables and twist switches...the walls are thick and stone, but not cold, and there's great heating...they apologized for the poor wifi signal, but I was able to do everything I needed with less signal droppage than at my house.
The breakfast was diverse and abundant, homemade omelets and cakes included, no need for lunch!
The room was large, with a big sofa and desk (not just a symbolic easy chair with a small table, as in many places). More room and hangars in the closet than most 5-star hotels, and all the towels and bedspread have the lovely logo from Casa Horta...
All of this made the stay wonderful, but what made it truly unique was the warm welcome and treatment from the hosts. Jordi and Marcelo are charming, generous to a fault, and fun to talk with. The book selection in my room included a book on dachshunds, another book in Chinese...about as eclectic as you can imagine. Whether you want to bunker down or go out exploring, this is a great venue for a day, weekend, or even a week.
