Beautiful Hotel
A beautiful hotel. We stayed for a week while visiting a local university and were delighted with our suite, which was exceptionally comfortable and quiet, with amazing views over Badajoz. The pool area was beautiful, and the rooftop bar was fantastic in the evenings, with a great atmosphere, lovely staff and excellent cocktails.
Unfortunately, the ground-floor restaurant was the one disappointing aspect of our stay. The staff appeared inattentive, disinterested and unfriendly, and using Google Translate to communicate clearly seemed to be an inconvenience to them. The menu was limited, and the service was extremely slow. As this was the only restaurant mentioned to us at check-in, we ate there on several evenings.
We were therefore both delighted and disappointed to discover, towards the end of our stay, another wonderful restaurant beside the rooftop terrace. It offered an excellent wine selection and truly delicious food. The host was fantastic—attentive, welcoming and extremely helpful, with excellent recommendations for food and wine pairings. He is a real asset to the hotel and was himself disappointed that we had not been told about the restaurant when we checked in. Although there was a small sign in the corner of the lobby, we did not notice it until near the end of our stay.
Overall, this is a beautiful hotel that we would happily recommend. We only wish we had discovered the rooftop restaurant sooner, as both the food and its wonderful host made it a highlight of our visit. We wish him every success.

VERY BAD FOR THE SECOND TIME
Beautiful hotel, this is the second time we have tried to have dinner and it was impossible; the first time at the boulevard a young waitress treated us terribly. Today we asked to have a drink on the terrace and there was a man at the elevator door who was very, very unfriendly. We also tried to have dinner again at the boulevard at 10:30 at night and a waitress told us very arrogantly that the kitchen was already closed. Anyway, a very large investment for them to fail with the hired staff. I hope that the kitchen works well, as we still have not had the opportunity to try it. This message is more for the owner to fix it before it sinks. It would be a real shame.

This place was one of the cleaner motels I've visited. An older couple runs it and were nice enough to let us check out a little late. I had to wake them with their bell upon first getting in late at night, but was greeted shortly after by the friendly wife and easily checked into my room. It's a short drive to the main town, though there is a grocery store and other amenities across the street. I would recommend staying here if you want a soft bed and very clean room. It runs a little hire than the chain motels likely for that reason, plus the fact that it is in a recreational town.

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel in mid-September. Sure the lady at the check-in counter was older and seemed grumpy but she got me checked in and didn't bother us after that. This place is clean, it has all the stuff you need for a short stay. It's not the 4-Seasons but it also doesn't cost like it.
