Stunning location and amazing service
What a stunning location!!! Yes if you stay at son ermita you have to plan to get a ride to and back from the sister property son binidufa but that is a small inconvenience and they are very very good at being prepared to take you back and forth. The ease of communicating with staff on WhatsApp is great. The team really tried to meet our every need and arranged a great private boat excursion. For example they noticed it was two female friends staying in the room so they swapped one of the larger room slippers to a smaller size for my friend and also the larger size robe. Pretty amazing!
The interior design is amazing and you can tell the owners thought of every design detail from the hardscape/landscape to the interiors. There are awe inspiring views of countryside or ocean all around the property and some awesome hiking trails from the property. It was a very peaceful place and the night sky was SPECTACULAR. Highly recommend and I hope to go back!

The service received
We had always wanted to go because we have a house nearby. We didn't know what to order because the cocktail options at the bar were many. Eleonora and Eduardo were very attentive and advised us well. What to say about the place, a unique and elegant touch but without being pretentious.

Dreamy, stunning hotel and location!!!
Son Ermita was stunning on every possible level. The location is up there with the best we have stayed all over the world and the property felt like you were staying in a comfortable, yet luxury estate. The owner collects art, and you feel like you are in a gallery in the common rooms. Our bedroom was spacious with a most comfy bed. You are surrounded by nature, the Mediterranean a view away, pink sunsets, and fantastic hiking trails near by. I never care about pools, but the two on the property were outstanding--you feel like you are swimming in the clouds. The restaurant is a bonus--nice to relax after a day of touring. The food fresh and delicious!
Most of all, wonderful friendly staff--thank you all!!!. We already miss everyone who made our stay so special and if we could would come back again this summer!

Wonderful Holiday destination
We returned from our trip through Spain and definitely want to share our feedback on our stay at both Vestige locations in Menorca: Son Vell and Son Ermitá.
We stayed two nights in Son Vell and two nights in Son Ermita.
Both hotels have their own unique location (and soul), we very much loved the special character of the old manor at Son Vell, just a walk from sea in the south and same for Son Ermita, an old finca at the top of the hill in the northern part of the island giving you amazing and dramatic views, also at walking distance from the sea.
For Son Vell, you drive through nice country lanes, fenced with the typical Menorcan walls and arrive at a beautiful wooden gate with a glampse of the manor beyond it. Son Ermita is reached via a beautifull winding mountain road towards the finca, build on top of the hill (the raod was very well maintained).
In both hotels you can walk to the coastal path that goes aroud the island ( Cami de Cavalls) , in the south more flat (and giving the impressive view on the manor walking back) , in the north in Son Ermitá a bit more demanding as you walk up and down to different bays with spectacular views.
We especially enjoyed the sunset views in Son Ermitá.
The rooms in both locations were very spacious, very well equiped and had king size beds of very high quality.
In Son vell, the Junior suites have even a very nice private garden with sunbeds, lounge seats,...
We went out on the bicyles in both locations. From Son Vell we rode to Ciutadella, a very charming harbour town, where you can enjoy a nice lunch next to the water. In Son Ermitá we rode through the loverly green hills.
Unique about Vestige is that the architects (both exterior and interior) did an amazing job!
So many details, but all fitting perfectly together. Every thing is top notch and of a very high quality. Much is handcrafted and locally made.
Food was great at both places.
Last but not least the Vestige staff left a very positive impression, in Son Vell as well at Son Ermitá . Always friendly and helpful, all without any exception very efficient and always with a smile, it gives guests a great feeling.
All in all a very impressive experience with great memories which we will share and recommend.
Combining the two properties is a very good idea to experience two different locations with complementary features but both with the same high quality level. Highly recommended!

They just opened! We recognize that. The staff has some kinks to work out, they failed at our breakfast orders multiple times, and I still feel like they are finding their rhythm but overall it’s a beautiful lovely place. It’s quite remote which we didn’t realize but absolutely gorgeous when you get out there. Recommend their house drink and the gym. Dare I say prettiest gym view on the planet?
