4 night 5* stay at the Barcelona Princess
Just returned from a 4 night stay at the Barcelona Princess. We loved this hotel and had a fantastic stay. Easy and quick check in, staff friendly, helpful and accommodating. We booked a sea view room and were given a room on the 23rd floor. Our room was large and very comfortable. Huge bed and really lovely shower, free drinks in fridge, safe and very clean. Lovely views of the city and sea. We had breakfast every morning which was really good, lots of choice and the breakfast room was large, never busy. The coffee was really good too. We didn't eat an evening meal at the hotel. The hotel is located next to a shopping centre and many cafés are close by. The Metro is a short walk away and we used this every day for getting around. Overall a fantastic stay. All the staff were polite and friendly and the hotel is very clean. We will return. Thank you.

Something to keep in mind if staying more than 4 days
The rooms are nice and confy, ac works well. The cleaning of the rooms is daily but superficial (change towels make bed) if you stay more days you start to see dust and garbage. The minibar is replenished everyday with water ,cola , beer and energiser. No healthier option. The roof top pool is very tiny and most of the times overcrowded. The cocktails are , however your luck is , and even though you pay a good price for them , the quality varies based on… god knows what. The pool from the 3rd floor is also tiny and mostly in the shade and for/or with, a lot of kids.
Overall the experience was fine, but not to be repeated, fine.

Great Hotel
I had an enjoyable stay at Hotel Barcelona Princess and cannot fault the hotel itself. It is clean, modern and well located, with a metro station and supermarket nearby, plus a late-opening bar. The pool was busy and quite small, but this was expected in summer.
The staff were mixed, with some extremely friendly and helpful, particularly the gentleman who checked us in. A special thank you to Judith, who went above and beyond after I was targeted by a fraudulent payment scam linked to my reservation at Hotel Barcelona Princess. I lost €563.36, and the hotel later confirmed that mine and other guests reservation information had been accessed by an unauthorised third party. Judith kept me updated and helped get the situation resolved, with the hotel ultimately agreeing to reimburse the full amount.
Unfortunately, one member of reception (a lady with glasses who didn’t have a name badge) was quite hostile when I asked about the refund upon checking out, which was disappointing given the circumstances.
I probably wouldn’t stay again, but this is purely because the experience has left me concerned about my information being leaked. From my understanding, the issue involved the third-party provider used for the hotel’s website booking system, rather than the hotel itself. Overall, I cannot fault the hotel and really appreciate how they ultimately resolved the situation.

Rubbish
I left my flip Flops there by accident they said the would send them they haven’t even though I paid 15 for them to be sent back, the staff are incompetent and can’t do a simple task

Perfect for short break
Lovely hotel spotlessly clean. Spacious room and comfortable bed, would have prefered a door on the bathroom though!

Good location outside of city centre with easy transport links nearby.

Only let down was the food. Bar snacks were disappointing and the one time we had breakfast we found it to be overpriced with poor quality produce. Far better to use the few local bars opposite or the many food outlets in the shopping centre close by.
