Nice central hotel
This hotel is located in the gothic area, very close to La Rambla, and very central to a lot of sights.
The rooms are nice and clean and we enjoyed two different rooms. A suite which was huge and a de-luxe room with a big terrace and a plunge pool. A nice touch was the complimentary cava. There is a rooftop pool as well as a bar, which closes at 8 o’clock.
Reasonable price and nice staff. Nice breakfast as well.

The hotel is a lovely comfortable and clean property with nice amenities like the rooftop pool. Its location provides a terrific central location for exploring Barcelona by foot. The elevators broke down which posed a challenge.

Catalonia Catedral - Feeling Welcome in a Great Location.
We have been very happy with this hotel and the location…the Gothic Quarter and very close to Catedral de Barcelona. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Our room is large with a king sized bed and beautiful, clean bathroom. There is plenty of closet space for clothes and shoes. The pool area is small but welcoming with a bartender on site. From here, we have been able to walk back from Segrada Familia (35-40 min) as well as explore the endless number of streets and alley ways of shops.

Very welcoming and attentive
We’ve visited this hotel twice now over the last few years and we love it! The rooms are well kept and modern, and the staff on reception are consistently friendly, welcoming and helpful. A gentleman with a beard, whose name I’m sorry to say I’ve forgotten, went out of his way to get us some adapters we’d forgotten to pack. He’d also been there on our visit a few years earlier.
The rooftop pool is a lovely calm spot to relax in a busy city, and the Brazilian bartender up there was brilliant.
We were also very grateful to the hotel for upgrading our family to two suites on our second trip, and even more so for letting us use the rooftop and bar area again a week later, when our cruise had come back in that morning and our flight home had been pushed to the evening.
We have recommended, and will continue to recommend, this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona!
