Basic but clean with great air con

Stayed for one night before our flight. When i realised i booked a Hostel rather than a hotel i was concerned BUT it was great for what we needed. Dropped our bags off around 10:30 and the Manager chevked us in, apologised for the room not being ready ( check in is 2pm so perfectly fine) we then went out for the day. The lady managing reception gave us our key and help us to the lift with our luggage. If it was the same lady the previous reviwer mentioned we certainly didnt share your experience. She provided ectra pillows on request and even booked us a taxi to the airport for the following day.
The room was basic but absolutely spotless with a clean modern bathroom with a tiny bath with a shower over. Lots of hot water for the day after. We did have a window but no view but we went out for dinner and it was dark when we returned anyway. If you want more luxury you can certainly get it but you will pay 2/3 times more.

AVOID THIS PLACE!
You risk being left without a room and having to pay the penalty.
I will tell you my experience: we had booked through Booking a room with payment in the structure and without free cancellation, at the price of 224 euros.
Upon arrival, the lady of the structure suddenly informs us that the room is not usable and tries to give us a smaller room without windows. When asked – more than fair – “so the price will be lower?”, the lady completely lost her cool, threatening us not to give us any more rooms.
His intent was clear: to force us to cancel the reservation in order to be able to charge the penalty equal to the full amount!
After several attempts to contact Booking and tell her that if she did not stop with that attitude, we would call the police, she finally cancelled the reservation herself, leaving us at 7pm with nowhere to sleep.
As proof of everything, there was also a worker who was working on the room, obviously unusable.
Problems can happen, but using unusability as a pretext to attempt a scam against customers is unacceptable!

Very comfortable in the hostel drassanes

We were a little scared about the comments. But what was our surprise that is not how the wonderful reception boy and his lovely mother paint it. the room cleans change of sheets daily bathroom with modern shower. hair dryer we have no bad review we have close everything. maremagnum colon ramblas metro. So we come with a lot of grief. And we will return to drassanes without fail..arantxa and paki s.sebastian we recommend it.

Satisfactory stay in hostal drassanes

It has been a great experience despite the suspicion of negative reviews. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. We have been very comfortable and will definitely stay there again. Encourage everyone to go this all close and it is very nice and everything clean. No smell of tobacco or dirty sheets. We're two donosti friends. Thank you for making both the mother and the boy comfortable.
