Barcelona is life...

I stayed in this hotel for only one night, and I appreciated the strategic location, just a few meters from La Rambla.
The room was a bit small but efficient...everything essential was there!! I recommend it..

5 stars if I was reviewing only the hotel and not bed and breakfast

Beautiful hotel. Rooms are massive and the staff are very friendly. It’s located 2mins from the gothic quarter. We had a twin room. The only point I’d like to make is the twin beds were pushed together so it felt like we were sleeping in the same bad. A bit of space would have been nice especially as the room was so big. The only negative is I paid extra for breakfast. This was in the bakery next door and was very basic. Half a sandwich with minimal filling there was no option to have one of the lovely sandwiches that they sold. It definitely wasn’t worth the extra as this would have probably cost €5 for the breakfast. Maybe I was expecting too much but bed and breakfast I do expect eggs at least. There are much nicer bakeries a few doors down that we used every day.
This would of been 5 stars if just the hotel alone

The location worth the price

The location was the best thing I liked. Then the price. For the price I paid, I did not expect to get more than what I got. The room was small but clean and with private path room. By traveling to Barcelona we did not plan to stay in and enjoy the hotel room, we wanted to go out and see things, and only sleep in the room.

Great experience!

We had a triple room on the top floor with a small balcony and a wonderful view to the downtown of Barcelona! The location of the hostal is great. Inside the room everything’s very simple, but clean and comfortable. There’s AC inside the room and coffee/tea facilities. We enjoyed absolutely everything here. And the price was great also. And special thanks to the reception staff! They were very friendly and polite. We will definitely come back here!
