Central, safe and clean- but basic.

This hostal was basic, clean, and central. The bed was comfortable, the hot water in the shower was good, the towels were fluffy and replaced fresh each day, and the front desk staff were really welcoming. Despite being really central it was quiet enough for sleep, although we could hear a snorer from another room. When we first arrived and pushed the intercom button it took a couple of goes to work out that the door that opened was set into the big door but that was a minor problem! Having a lift to go up to the first floor with luggage was great.
Basic means no hair dryer, no chair, no wardrobe, no iron, no fridge, etc - it really is a bed, bedside tables and a small drawer unit with a blanket stored, but as a safe clean place to sleep it worked. We liked having reception there 24 hours, and leaving our key with them for safety. The staff were delightfully friendly.

Good hotel

Very good surprise for this establishment aui is very beautiful, the location could not do better, close to everything. The bus stop to the airport ansi as the nearest metro station are 200m away, the area is lively but the residence quiet. The bed made and towels changed every day. Only downside, if you are sensitive to noise take balls quies because insulation is not too much. Otherwise very good stay:)

Strange place

I'm here right now - at the time of writing. Whether you see this place as an experience where you come down in a strange - and a little creepy - time pocket - or if you want to choose to see it as a bad experience , it is entirely up to you. I'm sure you get the best through your stay if you take the angle that it's an acidic experience.
We got quite clear associations to a decommissioned cathedral/religious place when we got into the very special building. Large heavy, old and wooden doors with twisted cuts. . Very very high to the ceiling and clinker with religious symbols. There was a cross hanging around. But high up like it was a church place. The "room" we had booked had no windows and was very small. I immediately got associations to a monkey cell. Which turned out to have been because when I asked the receptionist what the history of this building was, I was confirmed that it had been a residence for the monks / priests. It alone is exciting enough, if that is what you want. The beds were good enough and the mattresses comfortable, but there was a single blanket for each and I could not get delivered an extra although I usually freeze at night (even though the air conditioning is turned off) there was no electric kettle and the monastery - I mean the hotel - had no coffee machine. So morning coffee we had to drop. There was absolutely no coziness some places but in return I think there was ok nice and clean and the monastery / hotel was really good. The toilet and bath had to be shared with others and there was quite a lot of noise. Because when people came and went they had no key (it had to be laid at the receptionist) so they had to call when they were going in again and the buzz tone we could clearly hear. It is not a place that is intended for stay and cozy but a place that is intended to sleep - when you have been on sightseeing. And sleep is meant for those who can sleep well anywhere - even in a cold cell with only a single blanket and with lots of noise from doors and voices outside. The price is far too high for such a modest stay. However, it is not every day that you experience sleeping in an abandoned monastery. And it is - everything else just - also an experience.

Great location

Excellent location, close to many points of interest, highlight the sympathy of Martin, who helped us with data of places of interest and stored our luggage after check out, supporting at all times.
About the cleanliness, all very well, and despite being in a very busy place is not something that bothers for a good sleep.
I'd definitely go back to this place.
