Very good price/location ratio for Barcelona
Located in a building with several apartments, Hostalin Diputacion has several well-maintained apartments with optimal facilities for a stay in Barcelona. The staff is minimal, but very helpful and prompt. A minus would be that only one person knows English, but with the facilities of the smartphone you can manage. The location has connections to the metro or bus lines, very close to 200-300 m. so you can move anywhere. Anyway, there are many tourist attractions that can be accessed just by walking. They do not offer the possibility of serving meals, but there are many restaurants or grocery stores nearby (the rooms also have a small refrigerator). Certainly, if I return to Barcelona, I will choose the same location

We chose this place because it was cheap and cheerful
Other reviews had stated cleanliness and our room was clean, with a daily clean too.
Location was fab and our room had a balcony
Road noise was loud but its to be expected in a city.
I'd you're looking for a no frills stay, this is a good option. Just before realistic with your expectations

Good budget hotel
The receptionist was friendly and checked us in. This was the cheapest hotel we could find in Barcelona for the night so my expectations were low. The bed was fine and the bathroom clean. There was a small wardrobe if you wished to unpack and a tiny little balcony to people watch. Better than I expected.

SHAMELESS
In life I will go to this place, I had a reservation for today , a month ago I had contacted them as we were going 2 adults and a 4 year old girl, to see if you could put an extra house, you say yes call them when we carry and they have taken quite a while to come to give me the key and what is my surprise that they had not put the extra bed and the bed was tiny, the boy tells me that he will see what solution gives me and after 10 min waiting... THEY HAD LEFT!!! Total that I call them and they do not pick up my phone and soon they answer that they had gone to the other hostel because they had another room to deliver, they offer me a crib and my daughter does not enter a crib,total that the solution they give me that they return my money and that I seek my life!!!

Tiny and very uncomfortable room
I booked this hostal because it was well situated and the online reviews were acceptable. My experience was quite bad, but luckily it was for just one night. From the photographs, it looks like there are two completely different apartments, and one is much more modern than the other (or maybe they are cheating and using fake photos).
My room was tiny. I've never stayed in a room as small as this, it only fit my suitcase (closed, I didn't have space to open it). All the furniture, the appliances, the walls, everything looked old and shabby, very neglected. At least it didn't look dirty, and the sheets and towels in my case were spotless.
The room was single with a private outside bathroom, which was also extremely small, in addition to the fact that the door does not close completely, it leaves a gap through which it is possible to see the interior, which can be very uncomfortable, particularly for women.
Good thing the reservation was for a single night. I felt very deceived by the photographs. It's true that it's cheap, and the location is good, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone and I certainly won't be returning.
