Was a very nice clean hotel. Rooftop pool was nice but there was a lot of mold at the water line. Needs cleaning. You can only get ice by asking bartender on roof and it closes at 11pm. Wish they had one you could self access. No toilet brush in

Excellent choice to explore Barcelona
Hotel Jazz was the perfect pre-cruise stay in Barcelona! If you’re looking for a hotel that combines comfort, convenience, and a great location, this is it.
We chose Hotel Jazz as our home base before embarking on our Mediterranean cruise, and it couldn’t have been a better decision. The location made it easy to explore Barcelona on foot. We strolled through the vibrant Las Ramblas, wandered over to the famous La Boqueria Market to sample local flavors, and enjoyed the many cafés, tapas bars, and restaurants just steps from the hotel.
When it was time to head to the cruise port, a short and inexpensive taxi ride had us at the terminal in minutes—making embarkation day completely stress-free.
The hotel itself exceeded our expectations. Our room was modern, spotless, quiet, and thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed for a relaxing stay after a full day of sightseeing. The beds were comfortable, and the room provided the perfect place to recharge.
One of the hotel’s standout features is the rooftop terrace. Whether you’re taking a refreshing dip in the pool, relaxing in one of the lounge chairs, or enjoying a drink from the rooftop bar while soaking in panoramic views of Barcelona, it’s the perfect place to unwind and take in the city’s atmosphere.

5 star hotel but bring ear plugs
The hotel was absolutely spotless clean the staff was so nice and welcoming. The roof top pool was the best. It made our stay more amazing to finish off the day with relaxing at the pool with snacks amd a drink. My son took off swimming all by himself during our stay. Everything in the hotel was 5 star.
So the big negative thing was and its nothing to do with the hotel and they can't help but it was the street noise was so bad each night that it would be sunrise when it would stop. I know its not the hotels fault but I was absolutely exhausted when I got home from my holidays. The noise was so loud and we were on the 7th floor. I would recommend this hotel but you will need ear plugs

Excellent!
The hotel is beautiful, clean, and the pool is very nice. The rooms are spacious. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is decent. The terrace bar staff is super attentive. The location is ideal, 2 blocks from Plaza Cataluña. We spent some beautiful days. Without a doubt we would return!

Nice hotel very well located near Plaça de Catalunya and La Rambla, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, friendly staff, but unfortunately few of them, especially at the reception, speak French. Another issue is that it’s the first time there were only Spanish channels on their televisions, no foreign or French channels, as if the hotel were reserved for them!!!!!! Strange, another shortcoming: only one hook in the bathroom for our clothes, a shame. Apart from a few small things, the hotel is very pleasant and clean. The breakfast was hearty and varied, and refreshing drinks were distributed for free at the reception. In the end, I recommend this hotel.
