The location was really good, although for anyone getting about on foot it is a bit of a walk from the sites and beach.
The beds were comfortable and fresh sheets when we arrived. I'm not sure if there were any spare towels around as I used the same one a few times. There are allocated shelves in the fridge which is good.
I had to text the host late at night as i couldn't find a duvet. They answered very quickly and considering the time, probably after midnight, I was very impressed. For the price this room is worth every penny.

This place is a central location and the person I worked with for check-in was very kind and helpful, letting us check in earlier than 4. That said, charging extra for air conditioning in a heat wave is pretty brutal. This place was also listed as good for families, which is absolutely not: the tiny elevator barely fits a stroller and the bathroom is shared with five other rooms. One downside of the great location is that the street gets quite loud with traffic and trash/recycling trucks coming every few hours in the early morning. If I were traveling on my own in a month that wasn't sweltering, this would be a great spot, but I'd recommend against it for families.

We chose this place almost exclusively for the location, and if that is what you prioritize, this is a great choice. It's a couple of blocks from La Sagrada Familia and in the middle of everything.
That said, this is an apartment (not a hotel) that has been converted into Airbnb-type rentals. The bathroom is shared between rooms. It is outfitted with the necessities, but it has the slippery-est shower I have EVER been in. There IS an AC in the room, but the host required us to pay for use for each day we wanted to use it at the beginning of the visit. This wasn't stated in the ad, so I thought it might be helpful to someone. Also, the AC started leaking water onto the table under it (which ended up ruining some paper Tour de France things my husband had bought). When I brought this to the host's attention, she stated that she would contact the handyman the next day but that nothing could be done until then. So, we had to pile towels underneath the unit and hope for the best (the TV was located just under the unit, and the water was dripping into the TV.).
I probably wouldn't stay here again, but, again, if you want to be close to LA Sagrada, and if the AC issue is a one-off, then this might check the boxes.
