Pleasant surprise in Béjar

A great surprise. Located at the entrance to Béjar. Easy parking. Good service at reception.
Very clean, spacious, comfortable room, with a good temperature. Good views of the town. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom too, with excellent hot water.
Both dinner and breakfast, both quite abundant, with good attention from the staff.
I totally recommend it

Beware as Hotel Casa Beletri, is far from what it seems

Beware of this Hotel, we stayed and the air conditioning was not on, it was over 21 Degrees in the room, with the window open. We spoke to reception and Lewis said that people do not use it to cool as they prefer hotter. I said it’s a personal choice and we have paid for the room. He has terrible attitude and bad to deal with. Also No Tea or Coffee making facilities, we got hot water from reception that was contaminated, do not use

Overnight stop

We viewed this hotel on line and because it looked good, how looks can be deceiving. The food we ordered was DISGUSTING. It was soup & chips(cause we didn't like the look of anything else). We waited 45 mins just for that(which was easy) and NOT cheap. Not very clean. Rooms were decorated OK. Breakfast we didn't get what we asked for. I would advise anybody not to waste there money and stay there. One star is way to much.

Great little stop over

I stayed here on my way to Morocco and also on my return. It's about half way down Spain and just off the very quiet motorway. Parking is right outside and safe, there's a restaurant and tapas bar on site. Rooms are great apart form the eccentric computerised switch which controls lights and motorised shutters. I never got control of it - shutters flying up and down when all I wanted was a light on !
I'm using the place again early next year.

Two Overnight Stays on round trip to Gibraltar

This was the perfect overnight stop for us between Bayonne and Gibraltar. Just a short drive off the main highway, it offers off-road parking, clean bedrooms, a bar and a good restaurant. The only problem that we encountered was our lack of Spanish but we overcame that with the help of the very friendly staff. The bar is a vibrant local watering hole with the restaurant through the back. It is an old building which has been tastefully converted with good services. Our second room (205) had a very quirky corner bath! Rooms on the roadside of the building do suffer from the early morning traffic - especially on the Monday that we were there. The hotel, restaurant and wine list are all very well priced.
