Stayed 3 nights to watch our Son compete in the Ironman in Vitoria Gastiz, lovely hotel in a fantastic location to explore the city and surrounding areas.

Comfortable beds, poor internet
I stayed here one night with my son. The reception was efficient, but not overly friendly. The room was small, but clean, comfortable bed, and air-conditioning worked great. The internet didn't work at all, which was unfortunate as I need to do some work; and Netflix never connected on the TV. Room service food arrived cold, I'd not order room service.

Bilbao in Style by the River

a horrible experience
that was totally bad experience for us, since we arrived. First the reception was soo kind to mock with us. I was asking that parking was full and what are the rules in town for parking zone colors and etc... One of receptionist called "Pablo" was saying in spanish "year 2026 and still asking this stupid question" the worst part they thought we don't understand spanish...
Second, room was selected as double bed and given 2 single bed, asked to change after arriving to room, they gave another but smaller room. HVAC system shut down i don't know how many times and i complaint about that and they changed the room at 5 am in the morning. Later i created complaint report but still company support their thoughts that HVAC was working and we were wrong. I woke up with sweating like hell and receptionist were able to see which condition of the room was in. Anyway, This is first and last experience with Barcelo group at all. I don't recommend any friends of mine and it's not worth it to spend any penny for this hotel group

Excellent. It exceeded our expectations
Friendly and helpful staff, with good knowledge of English. Good size room and bathroom. We liked the pastel and neutral, modern colours and style of the hotel. Excellent breakfast with many different options. The food at the bar was delicious and the service was excellent. Empty fridge and complementary bottles of water on arrival. Pleasant walk along the river. This hotel exceeded our expectations.
