Great for exploring the city on foot

I slept in this hotel upon arriving in Bilbao late in the evening, and I greatly appreciated being able to eat something at the reception bar. I returned for the last two nights before departure; in the first case, I was assigned a room on the 5th floor, not very large but very welcoming and equipped with a large bathroom with a curious porthole-shaped window; in the second case, the room was on the 4th floor, generously sized but with a smaller bathroom. The breakfast was excellent, served on the 4th floor, very varied in terms of sweet and savory food choices and with quality products. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly and generous with advice. The location is optimal, the Guggenheim Museum can be reached on foot in a few minutes, the Casco Viejo in no more than 10 minutes, and there are excellent restaurants nearby. There is also a paid underground parking available for customers, directly connected to the reception, which is a bit cumbersome to reach by car after checking in and obtaining your assigned spot.
Highly recommended.

The staff was very accommodating! They helped us out with directions to nearby attractions, helped to reserve taxis, provided information about restaurants, etc. Our picnic breakfast was very good and traveled well too. This was a very pleasant stay.

Lovely location and and comfy bed what more can you ask for! Also they have on site parking if you have your car.

The man at the bar and the cleaning woman were very nice and helpful. The room was so so and the hallways are kind of scary, but it is a good location for shopping and a nice park is just down the block.

Basque Mercury

Hotel strategically located close enough to every point, especially near the museum. Large, comfortable rooms equipped with every comfort. Staff very kind and helpful. There is also a garage, but it must be booked in advance. For those who want it, there is also a small gym open 24/7. In the vicinity of the hotel, you can find several places to have breakfast as well, for those who do not want to have it inside the property. The only negative note is the view from the room; we ended up with an interior one that looked out onto a small and dirty courtyard, but all in all, an excellent hotel.

Siamo lieti che abbia apprezzato il comfort delle nostre camere, la disponibilità del personale e servizi come il nostro parcheggio interno e la palestra aperta tutto il giorno.
Tuttavia, ci dispiace che l’affaccio della sua stanza non abbia risposto alle sue aspettative. Il nostro edificio, trovandosi in pieno centro, è circondato da altri palazzi e la maggior parte delle camere si affaccia su cortili interni.
Ciononostante, ci fa piacere sapere che abbia trovato comoda la posizione per esplorare i musei principali della città e che nei dintorni abbia potuto scegliere tra diverse opzioni per la colazione.
Speriamo di avere un'altra occasione per accogliervi all'Mercure Bilbao Jardines de Albia.
