Very few properties on Trip Advisor get the ratio of five star reviews that the Bonansa Country Hotel achieves. It’s entirely justified.
From the welcome we received, the standard of the accommodation, quality and sourcing of dinner and breakfast, everything justifies five stars.
It’s a remote location but if you are looking for some tranquility or passing through the Pyrenees it’s a very good option.
It’s just a shame that the clouds prevented stargazing or a proper view of the surrounding mountains.
We will return at some point in the future

Great Hotel

This was a diamond in the mountains. The room and grounds are very clean and well maintained. The hotel has breakfast and dinner which we were very happy to utilize. The food was delicious and the staff/owners were very friendly and made us feel like we were home. I loved walking around the small town and there is wonderful hiking all around the area. Very quiet and great stargazing.
A great bonus was seeing the sheep being herded in the pastures around the town.

A lovely hotel with wonderful owners

My wife and I just spent two nights at the Bonansa Country Hotel. While somewhat off the beaten path, this small (8 guest rooms), lovely, modern hotel is located in an old, small village in the Pyrenees. While the hotel and meals were excellent, the husband and wife owners Javier and Maria could not have been more personable and made our stay there a memorable experience. We would highly recommend this hotel.
