Sadly bad.

When one goes to a place like this, historic, with soul, four stars, from the Junta de Extremadura's network of inns, high price... one expects quality standards, and in this place I did not find them. Let me explain, the air conditioning in the common areas is almost nonexistent and very poor in the rooms. The cleanliness leaves quite a bit to be desired; the elevator glass deserves a little attention, it is disgusting. The furniture in the room was scuffed and broken. Few outlets for charging in the room. And perhaps what bothered me the most, my wife is celiac and we notified them... when going to have breakfast they gave her bread heated in the microwave and that was it.... With that matter settled. If you want to toast it, where do you do it? In the toaster that everyone uses, I imagine, and as for cross-contamination, well, we'll see; carton juice, coffee machine that makes noise, coffee somewhat less. The day before, I thought about staying one more day; fortunately, there were no rooms available. If you look at my reviews, I don't usually be harsh or negative if I can avoid it because I know the work behind every stay, but this really has been as I tell it. Maybe if you go to another cheap place with other expectations, well, hey, if you don't pay, you don't demand, but here you pay like a Parador to receive the treatment of a hostel.

A magnificent hotel in magnificent surroundings

An old convent later converted into a factory (I don't remember what) very well adapted for its current function as a stopper. Super friendly staff and superb restaurant. We have spent a couple of days (we went fishing) super nice and we will definitely repeat as we have done this time (this is the third time.)

Relax

I thought it was a beautiful place. Even though we went two nights Sunday and Monday and on this date we knew there would not be many people. Very nice hotel and super good service. The restaurant's a pass. Very good food. Nice village to see. Especially the convent and the bridge. We wanted to relax and we got it
