Fantastic would highly recommend

Location was fabulous, close to shops, beach train station, bars and restaurants. Close to the old town. Atmosphere was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was airy clean and spacious. Although no air conditioning which was disappointing especially as humidity was high. Great value for money. Food was fabulous with lots of choice and variety everyday. Cleanliness was very good. Although pool tiles could do with a clean as black mould was present in some areas. Noise level was fine. Service was great, no complaints. All in all would highly recommend this hotel. Could do with some modernisation.

Read this before booking, no air con for all inclusive

•came as family of 6 all inclusive and the hotel advertised air con, there was none it was either €20 fan for the week or €20 PER PERSON PER NIGHT FOR AIR CON!!! bar drinks are very limited and watered down (have to pay €1.80 for bottled water) and it’s all cheap drinks. Water in a cup is free.
•Rooms are very outdated with one plug (for the tv) and no bracket holder for the shower head or toilet roll holder, the shower also floods badly because it’s tiny and has a window what leads into someone else’s room!!
•bathrooms have a smell off sewage
•food is the same everyday not many options or labelled (as per the law) and can’t pour your own drink in the restaurant (have to wait in line)
•cleaners came everyday changed the towels, emptied bins and gave a little mop but they did not change the linen on the beds despite the heat and sweat but they were very friendly
• staff were lovley and nice to us (housekeeping gave us floaters and parasol from previous guests to take to the beach)
•it’s a hotel with many floors and only one lift what goes incredibly slow takes ages and heats up fast
•entertainment only on Mondays and Thursdays in a small room and ends at 11
•not enough sun loungers for the guests max 15 for the whole hotel
•also do not convert money in the euro machine downstairs, the first day we were here it swallowed my friends bank card and they told us to ring the number on the machine and when we did they only spoke Spanish so we passed the phone to reception and she said we had to cancel the bank card and get a new one!!!
•also the local shops outside the hotel is scamming kids out of money (whiteness’d this myself with my sister) there a black cat what waits out side the shop (souvenir supermercat) and they chase the cat away and are horrible to it
•for cheaper prices walk past the church and prices for everything drop by HALF
•the room has no fridge so we couldn’t keep drinks chilled in 31°, for this we used a bin and a bag of ice to keep them cold (should not have to do any of this in a all inclusive) also the bar closes at 11:30pm so you can’t get any cold drinks in the hotel after that.
•biggest plus side to the hotel was how close it was to the beach and meeting other guests
•snack bar was hotdogs and croissants and they were reheated
•rooms were so hot I whitnesses other guests complaining about the heat and sleeping on the balconies
•also they put the heating on in the hallway when it was 31° so turn off your radiator day 1 :)
•also advertised free WiFi but it’s terrible we were on 3rd floor and only works by the lift
•noise level in the hotel was okay, but with it being so hot and no air con the balcony door was open and outside is noisy so your lucky to get a decent nights sleep
•atmosphere of the hotel was okay too staff were willing to help where they can
•the bartenders were friendly and like to have a chat, and recommend activities around
•beds are very uncomfortable pillows are small and thin and the covers are itchy
•very minimal lighting in rooms
•could of spent a couple hundred more going to a better hotel with better food then eating out everyday
•pool space is very limited and can’t move about much if more then 10 people’s in, also can’t bring floaties into the pool only arm bands
Overall I wouldn’t stay here again

Hotel terrible

You get what you pay for, I would not reccomend, definitely not if your going with children. If you want a hotel just to sleep in, then suppose it's okay for that, depending what floor your on, as level 5 has air con, the rest do not! Food is terrible, drinks are horrible, even the soft drinks/ mixers are cheap, cocktails are watered down, asked for a sex on the beach, was told by the bar man he could do a red or green cocktail! Food, well its the same everyday, nothing labeled, which was a concern due to having people with us that have a shell fish and nut allergies, restaurant hasnt got air con, so whilst your sat in there, your sweating. The all inclusive experience definitely was not worth paying that little bit extra for. Pool area is rather small, no life guard, well the barman was aslo life guard apparently. Very outdated decor, beds aren't the best and pillows are bad. Cleanliness isn't great, the cleaners made one bed and left the other un made, found sweets and other items under beds. So main points if you book this hotel, make sure your not a fussy eater, if you are, there is a McDonald's a few minutes walk away, supermarket over the road for drinks and proper alcohol, pack a decent pillow, and definitely tick the option for air con!

Lovely family holiday

We had a week at this hotel and I was dreading it based on the previous reviews…but we actually had a really lovely holiday. I found the staff very friendly and welcoming, particularly the lady on reception who helped us book the water park, sort a packed lunch and when we needed a taxi to the airport. The lovely bar staff who would have our drinks before we could ask for them also need a mention!
The food wasn’t particularly varied, but we always found something to eat and what we had was nice, I particularly enjoyed the salads.
The location is great, we were on the beach in 5 minutes. The kids enjoyed throwing some bread/biscuits in, and watching all of the fish come through their snorkels.
There are some really good restaurants nearby, particularly La Riera (always a short queue for a table, but very worth the wait!)
The hotel is very clean and tidy.
To address the not so good - the room was not air conditioned and we hired a fan and slept with the balcony doors open (€20 for the week). I was ok with this but obviously depends how sensitive to heat and noise you are, and wouldn’t be possible with small children.
The dining room is also very hot, we could cope with it at breakfast and lunch, but ate out most evenings.
There aren’t many sun loungers, but plenty of tables and chairs (and the lovely beach nearby).
Tip: take an extension lead if you have devices to charge

Could do better

The staff is great! It would be a very beautiful establishment with a little maintenance and decor updated to modern tastes. Our room on the 5th floor was very decent, clean, functional A/C. That is apparently not the case for all the rooms. Nice sea view. The pool is small but has the merit of being there. And 1 street from the beach facing the access, and 5 minutes from the pedestrian center. The breakfast is basic but you can eat. We booked on-site with negotiation of the price and the room. So very good value for money just for sleeping. But do not pay the normal price!

Very good location
