Dirty place i struggled eating the food, it's a tourist trap would not recommend.

Cala ratjada is a nice place just not this hotel I want refunding when I go home, all inclusive more like 1 star self catering. And I couldn't use the pool.

Rooms are terrible

First time staying at this hotel . Was not impressed. Was no proper air con , I had to complain in reception area which also had a weird damp smell in there anyway when I went down the following day as I arrived late that day there was a big que of complaining customers about the rooms: air con .
I was given a slightly better toon but once again air con was still bad. The room looked like prison cells .
Overall the food was ok, nothing special sometimes same left over food from the day before . Pool area is nice and overall Cala rajada area is lovely .
They need updating the rooms

August Summer Holiday

I stayed at this hotel for 10 nights in August overall we had a good stay.
Room:
The room we had was dated but clean the aircon worked but not very well. The balcony door was hard to open and by the last day I could not open at all.
Food and drinks:
Food was average all inclusive for a 3 star hotel there was a good selection and they did a Mexican theme night which was good. More theme nights would be better. Drinks were good branded soft drinks, slush, tea/coffee,wine, Amstel, sangria, spirits and pre-made cocktails. Had to pay €1 deposit for cups that you got back when they were handed back.
Pool area:
The pool area is good with two large pools and smaller ones joining them. They could do with cleaning though. Sun loungers were comfortable and there was a lot available.
Staff:
Staff were friendly and polite in restaurant and bar. Entertainment staff did a great job. There was a lady trying to get people to do reviews so any 5* reviews I would ignore because she most likely asked for these to be done. Cleaners were great and come in every day apart from Tuesday.
Entertainment:
There was day time entertainment and night time entertainment everyday. Some nights were singers, bingo or karaoke. There was also a mini disco each night.
Location:
Location is great close to harbour/centre and there are shops and restaurants within 5 min walk of the hotel. Beach is around 10 minute walk away from the hotel.
Overall we had a good holiday but we were lucky with our room as from some photos others have put on if we had a room like that the holiday would have been ruined. This is a lower end 3* hotel and would probably say it’s more a 2*.

Needs improvement...!!

All in all, the hotel is not bad, the food is good, and the pool is also an extra comfort. Despite this, the cleaning service is very disappointing: the sheets were never changed and for 2 days the room was not cleaned until we had to tell the reception. Regarding the rooms, I would recommend renovating them; the furniture is quite dated. I would like to point out that, unfortunately, one day at lunch a boy leaned on a cabinet door and it fell on his leg; now it is all full of scratches! All in all, it is not too bad; the restaurant service is good and the quality of the dishes was satisfactory; the entertainment is also decent, but some aspects cannot be overlooked.

Where do I start... ah yes, I can start with the trip from the airport to the hotel (which lasted longer than the flight), we arrived there at 4:30/5:00 in the morning... they gave us the room key, as soon as we entered we realized we didn't have air conditioning, we went down to reception and asked them to come with us to check, the gentleman at the reception told us that if we waited it would turn on, spoiler... we went another 3/4 times to ask about this air conditioning until they gave us a fan... obviously with today's temperatures the fan is equivalent to a circulation of boiling air in your face, so when they made us talk to the boss they changed our room, after a whopping 24+ hours and after they had made us unpack our bags. Besides the lack of air conditioning, the first room was scary, not just dated, but more than that! At times it felt like I was in the third-class rooms of the Titanic; with a broken bathroom, no surfaces to put things on, and an absurd flushing system. Moving on to the food, well what can I say, one day they made pork skewers that were burnt on the outside and raw on the inside, they always put out the same things on rotation, and then while you were eating they would take away your cutlery. The staff wasn't bad, it's just that some didn't know basic English, which I know very well because I study in English, so if you are telling me incomprehensible things, I understand that perfectly well. Also, don't book excursions through the hotel because they palm you off with a guide who doesn't explain anything to you, and who just limits themselves to taking you to the location by bus. As a final thing, I want to say that if this place were better maintained it would be top-notch, but many people have bread but no teeth to understand this, so the place is what it is.

Very good location
