Thoroughly recommended

On the last stage of a long motorcycle tour home and forecast hot weather we decided to break the journey. Hotel El Oasis is basic but clean and comfortable. The room a/c could have been a bit better but it was not that bad we needed to ask for a different room. Situated just off the highway and in a room facing it we were pleasantly surprised there was absolutely no traffic noise. There are lots of quirky items on display around the hotel which were interesting. For a night stop to break a road trip this hotel was exactly what we wanted.

Low quality food at a golden price.

Very strict food. Fried eggplants very oily, soft with a rough batter, bland, dare I say they are the worst I have ever eaten and at a price of gold € 13, plus no cane honey, normal honey. At least the ration was generous. Bad Russian salad, and tasteless, bland, lumpy-textured salmon. Come on, they'd like to get to the salad and salmon from the market. The only decent thing has been half a serving of vinegary anchovies, which were good, but came with bad fries...
The reviews that the food here is wonderful... nothing further from reality, if you can avoid stopping here to eat do not hesitate, but you will remember my review:)
I'm sorry to be that critical when you go to a place with such high standards, pulling down, it must be said.
Besides self-service, they don't bring your food to the table, you have to take it from the bar.

Shabby

Because we were on the way to the place where we were going and we were at the foot of the highway and we decided to stop to eat... When we entered, seeing what we had seen, we decided to simply have a couple of portions since the food that looked like nothing inspired the greatest confidence .. Fair cleaning, disorder and chaos on all sides and even on top of that you have to order at the bar take things to the table hopefully wait for them to clean it poorly and wait for them to notify you through a loudspeaker that yours is ready or It's good to be waiting at the bar for what you ordered to come out.

Very good people

The employees are very friendly and efficient, good food, great toast with exceptional oil. We have been stopping for breakfast for 30 years. Yesterday we were staying and had a very good atmosphere at dinner with the waiters.

Stayed 3 nights, didn't find the staff particularly friendly or helpful, there was a scrum at the bar for the quite poor breakfast, on the plus side the room was good value, the aircon was nice in 100F heat and the large free car park was great, right next to the main highway from Granada to Jaen.
