An authentic paradise in the middle of nature

An absolutely wonderful stay in an authentic paradise.
We spent 6 days at this hotel and the experience was unforgettable. From the first moment, we found ourselves in a place full of tranquility, nature, and beauty. Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail and the cleanliness is impeccable.
The facilities are wonderful and the pool is fantastic, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. But, without a doubt, one of the hotel's greatest treasures is the forest that is part of the property itself. A dreamlike place, magical and full of peace, where it is easy to disconnect completely and feel at one with nature.
The staff deserves a special mention: the service was exceptional, always kind, attentive, and approachable, making our stay even more special.
And what can I say about the breakfast… fantastic! Everything was delicious and prepared with great care, a perfect way to start each day.
We are leaving after these 6 days with full hearts and the feeling of having discovered a truly special place. It has been a wonderful experience and, without a doubt, we would love to return.
A true paradise that we recommend from the heart. ❤️

The place is spectacular, the food is excellent, and María is a great professional.

Good afternoon. Yesterday I attended a wedding at this hotel. There are no words to describe how wonderful it was. The forest is spectacular, the food is perfect, and the service is outstanding. I want to give a special mention to María, who was incredibly professional at all times, always with a smile and exceptional kindness.

Our son married, we celebrated his wedding at the Hotel-Restaurant San Roman (Escalante).
I'm not a reviewer, but in this case I want to do it to recognize

Nice hotel in a nice location, enjoyed our stay. Staff were all great, room was very spacious with a terrace and the decor was very Spanish and traditional in style. There is no restaurant at the hotel anymore, but there are options in the nearby town and a pizza place (amazing) that we walked to. It was a little bit dated, and there were some partly built buildings/building materials visible from our terrace (but also a lovely view of the countryside). We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again for sure.

Great, comfortable and very nice

We had already been a few years ago (then it was Relais Chateau, now it is a very nice 4 star, large and very comfortable beds with good sheets. Very spacious room , with bathroom that needs a touch up, the jacuzzi has known better times, the terrace is nice because it overlooks the forest.
The exteriors are very nice and very well maintained. Private forest for beautiful walks
Very rich breakfasts, natural orange juice and very rich coffee(difficult thing in these times.
I recommend it and hope to return
