Everything is correct but old.
The surroundings of the hotel are spectacular, its green areas, pool and tennis court. As for the rooms, everything is correct but a bit old; an update would improve it a lot since it has a very good balcony.

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS TRAP
BUYER BEWARE!
Do not trust the website of this establishment. The photos are NOT what you get. This place is a dirt hole. It has apparently been bought by a group that has run this place into the ground. I thought we were booking a nice quiet place in the mountains for our fishing excursion but this is the coldest, desolate, non-luxury, non-attentive place I've ever stayed. Poor air conditioning, half the lights are off throughout the property including the hallways to rooms and abandoned restaurants, no bar and minimal towels at the pool area, no hot water on the morning of our departure, no staff available to consult issues with. We wanted a bottle of water when we arrived and had to track down the guy who was "in charge" and had to pay him for the water. Front desk is dirty and unprofessional, fountain pond disgusting and unattended to, grass and grounds full of weeds, mini fridge is a joke, and you have a friendly penned up German Shephard nearby to greet you if needed. We left after one night it was so bad and didn't care to stay for our free breakfast. This place is the equivalent of a Motel 6 or similar, which have their place and are priced accordingly, but this establishment is not what they try to portray on their website and subsequently charge you for.

new owners and it shows
We have been to this hotel several times in the past and decided to visit again for a bit longer stay of 5 days. That was the mistake. The hotel has lost any resemblance of charm. Instead it feels cold and unwelcoming. The staff is uncaring and there are zero amnesties. The WiFi now barely works and the restaurant is sad. The limited wait staff is stiff and don’t dare ask for anything not explicitly as stated on the menu.
We left our room to overnight elsewhere just to get away from the dead vibe and regrettably still had a couple of nights to endure on our return.
The location is lovely and thats why we have been returning and would probably use it again for one night if in the area. But for a longer stay never again.

A very tranquil and pleasant hotel in a beautiful quiet location. Lots of parking available, nice clean and well maintained grounds and a good size pool.
Check in was quick and easy and room was of a good size with a very comfy bed and effective aircon.
Breakfast buffet was a quite limited range and eggs not great while there were no no facilities in room for making coffee or tea; two things I would expect to be better at this price point and number of stars.
Overall a very nice place to stay that with a few small areas of improvement would be really excellent.
Check in was quick and easy and room was of a good size with a very comfy bed and effective aircon.

A monumental disappointment
Disappointed. In one year, prices have gone up and the quality of service has gone down. As an example, the €33 dinner, drinks separate. First course to choose from: salad or cherry gazpacho. Second course: croquettes or leek pie. Dessert: flan or fruit. Everything in small portions. Two power outages in 4 days and the manager unable to manage the crisis... the Pallarés family were hoteliers. The current managers are investors who prioritize profitability over quality of service... It is a shame because the place is excellent. But I expect something more for what I pay. At the very least, better treatment. I was planning to return, but I have changed my mind. I should have done it sooner.
