Our house in Menorca

15 minutes from the historic center, near the sea. Very quiet area and strategic location to explore. Marcello is the reference point for everything, an added value for any kind of advice or problem. We rented a scooter through him, arrived directly at the hotel. Basic, non-air-conditioned room with ceiling fan. Daily cleaning. Sweet and savoury breakfast enough.

simplicity/honest

Simplicity, kindness, order and cleanliness
They are the basis of this hotel.
Simple and unique as a structure.
Marcello of a unique kindness and friendliness, was very helpful.
(For beaches,restaurants and places to see)
They are well organized, and you will always find your room clean and tidy by polite and helpful cleaning girls.
Great location to get to ciutadela on foot.
He may have a star, but he deserves more.

Grazie mile?

Quiet hotel 25 minutes walk from the port and 10 minutes from the city. Room with basic layout and uncomfortable bedding (aging spring mattress). Breakfast of your choice
OK, however lacking in quality for bread and coffee. The boss, Marcello, welcomes you with a smile and ad-hoc argument to make you overcome a pill that is difficult to digest: the price of the room with breakfast for two people at €115! Grazie mile?

Clean, comfortable hotel not far from centre

It was our 2nd stay at this family run hotel and it was every bit as good as the first time 5 years ago. We had a balcony with sea view, comfortable beds, ceiling fan (which was very welcome), and shower over the bath with plenty of hot water. Everywhere was kept spotlessly clean.
The continental breakfast has been improved since our last stay. We especially liked the dark brown bread and ensaimadas that were offered every day. We had breakfast outside by the pool most mornings, until the wasps arrived. There is also a bar offering coffee, soft drinks and alcohol, which does an excellent, and potent, pomada.
It’s about a 10 minute walk to the main square with plenty of restaurants and cafes or to the harbour. The owners, Joan (Juan) and Maria are very friendly and speak quite good English among other languages. It’s been rated as a 1 star hotel, perhaps because of a lack of lift and no evening meals, but we’d personally give it more stars and will definitely stay there again in the future.

Back Again

Back again for I think for the 19th or 20th visit. Since the sad death of Alex last year Jon and Mari have worked hard to keep up the improvements and this shows. As usual a very enjoyable stay, comfy rooms and a very good Continental Breakfast served till 11am.The rooms are not airconditioned but there is a ceiling fan which worked for us. The Town is definitely moving more upmarket as it were, The marina now seems to be full with a lot of expensive yachts. We shall be back next year!
