Budget but worth it
Travelodge Cornella Barcelona is a basic hotel in the center of Cornella. It is located in a roundabout but it doesn't affect the noise level. It is near the airport but far from Barcelona city center though there are 2 walkable metro stations to take you to the city.
Our assigned room was in 6th floor and is clean & spacious and have enough outlets for charging. CR is ok with basic shower amenities. There are side table, chair, TV, cabinet but there is no fridge in our room but not a problem with us though there are free water in the lobby and vendo machines for some snacks & beverage.
The staff (reception & housekeeping) are very helpful and accomodating to your requests.
We also availed of their buffet breakfast and we were very satisfied of their selection.
The hotel is very near to Splau Mall where you can do your grocery or last minute shopping before heading back to the airport which is like 15mins away.
Staying at Travelodge/Almeda is like you are halfway already in your travel going to Montserrat & Sitges. Value for money is worth it.

Good service and food!
We enjoyed a good meal at the bar, we were served by a very nice girl in the morning, we loved her service although we do not remember her name.

With regard to dining…..
To be cordially greeted & treated with respect and courtesy of the authentic Italian style has meant an enormous amount to us.
We truly appreciated Giorgio’s hospitality .
The food was delightful and I enjoyed his Seafood Tortellini, my wife the fresh salad with that Italian styled dressing.
