Thankyou for making my 60th birthday very memorabl
Booked last November for 5adults and 3 children aged 8,5 and3 to celebrate my 60th birthday in august.
Arrived at the hotel and was told to go to dinner before it closed,there was still plenty of choice for the kids and adults alike .All hot and well presented,this is a 3star hotel and usually myself and my husband stay in 5star adult only hotel in the carribean and can honestly say we have had worse meals in some of these hotels.
Our rooms were in the premium section so that is all I can comment on ,we had a huge bed which was very comfortable,a good shower although it probably could had done with a descale,a small kitchenette of which we only used the fridge which was super cold ,which is always a bonus to have cold water.
There was a small pool just outside our rooms which is available for anyone to use ,if you time it right at some point during the day you will have your own private pool as you will be the only one in it .A massive shout out to Manual,prob wrong spelling the life guard at this pool who never took his eyes off the youngsters in the pool and looked after everyone excellently.There was certainly a big difference whe he was day off ,a couple of young lads were on duty and never took there eyes off their phones and wet walk about a lot of the time .
Maryam prob wrong spelling again done a great job of sorting out your drinks,even knowing what the order was after a day or so .she gave us nuts and fresh fruit .Gonzales was also very good.
We ventured into town a few times,sitting on the beach having lunch in Wakik bar was great ,even if it did pour down.the taxis are cheap about 5 euros
On the morning of my 60th birthday,sat 24th they set up a table in the main restaurant with balloons banners(provided by my family) and fizzy wine .To say I was shocked was an understatement,it made me feel very special and blessed
Is there things that could be improved yes there is .
Entertainment at night could be better
The 1 bar in the evenings(although wine sangria and beer can still be obtained from the restaurant till it closes at 10 )
Would I come back to this hotel probably not but that’s just because this was a one off for my birthday with family
Would I come here again if I had young children yes in a heartbeat
