DO NOT BOOK
Avoid
Definitely not a 4 star, food was awful, rooms needed exterminating due to Ant infestation
Tree cutters all week sawing trees down, at 08:00 in the morning. When complaining to reception they said “sorry” wasn’t good enough, the cleanliness of the hotel was shameful. The hotel staff were under staffed and definitely stretched! Fully packed hotel one person on the all inclusive bar. Children’s entertainment was awful, no translation to the children they looked lost. Another couple was also complaining that there concrete balcony had disintegrated in the wind and blown down to the downstairs including the metal railing! They were refused to move rooms! Health and safety…. There was none, no protection barriers for the tree cutters as they were throwing palm tree branches down, couldn’t hear our self’s think. Hotel manager was rude and made it my fault that the ants came in, when no drinks or food were left un attended in the room, including my Crohn’s medicine and sterile treatments were absolutely saturated in ants along with my personal gadgets. The hotel needs a refit. To outdated and boarder line falling to pieces. Also the family rooms have ONE plug socket with is for the tv…. Good luck charging all your appliances and getting ready as a family of 4 really challenging. We went as a group of 6 with two children and would never recommend.

AVOID
Rooms tired, outdated and lacking basic amenities such as working air con and plug sockets.
Food bland with limited choice.
Entertainment extremely boring.
Pool areas dirty with old food from the day before and chainsaws going on all day everyday where they are cutting down trees by the pool.
Toilets around the pool disgusting
One of our groups rooms had an ant infestation
Another guests balcony crumbled and partially fell down.
Very little to keep the kids entertained, they described the kids club as being like school.
Would not return or recommend to anyone. I have no idea how this hotel is graded a four star!

pretty pool but very limited hotel
the positive points
magnificent pools
magnificent view of the sea
the squirrels that you can feed at the beach
food-wise the tilapia is good and the paella as well
the negative points
hotel not adapted for the disabled
hotel that is a real labyrinth (2 different elevators to take to move from the room and many hallways) you spend a good 10 minutes in them going through all the floors because there aren't enough elevators. even if the view is nice you will be entitled to the noise of the disco parties until midnight/1 a.m. and people screaming!
disgusting cocktails (San Francisco the worst which tastes like soap)
passable food with tourists who serve themselves ogre-sized plates and half the food goes in the trash it's sickening.
Beach with a lot of NUDISTS!!! you need to know this especially when you have children (mine didn't want to go to the beach anymore because he couldn't stand seeing naked people anymore! and most of the children were shocked.
the hotel is far from everything (min 1 hour by bus to go sightseeing and it's very expensive) nothing to see near the hotel except the beach
if you are French and you don't know how to speak Spanish or English it's going to be hard (no effort made at this level)
lounge chairs reserved from 6 a.m. unacceptable that the hotel lets this happen!!! not enough lounge chairs for everyone and some reserve the lounge chairs while they are at the beach.
the entertainment very average very noisy for peace and quiet it's a miss.
the restaurant very noisy, plus the plates and glasses clatter constantly and non-stop because of the clearing.
Very disappointed, especially for the price and the sacrifice of paying for a trip.
In short, I do not recommend it and we will not return....

Ok, wouldn't return.
Food wasn't great, most of the staff were really unfriendly and facilities need improving.
Location-wise, if you are looking for a variety of places to go out to eat, this is not the resort for you, as there are a small handful of restaurants within a 10 minute walk.
