Wonderful stay
Location is excellent. The person at the reception is very nice and has a great sense of humour (we speak Spanish).
The room was small and cozy. It had all the things you needed. It was quiet except for the lift which you can hear it moving when people used it but it isn't bothersome. The noisy seagulls added to the charm for me.
I wish we could have stayed another day!

excellent
This place lived up to our expectations. It was a relatively inexpensive family run place in the center of this absolutely stunning town, reminiscent of Cinque Terra in Italy. The room is immaculate, the only comment is watch out as you walk out onto the balcony because there is a low lintel that you can crack your head on. Small, but with all the amenities. Excellent shower. My wife ate there and had coffee and said it was excellent. Reyes (spelling?), I believe it is one of the owners, she is very efficient and pleasant and speaks good English, better than our Spanish. Absolutely beautiful. Everything is within walking distance. There are plenty of shops and good restaurants and incredible lookouts. Go there to walk. Reyes helped us get reservations at a local restaurant La casa Julia which I will review separately. Parking is the only issue, but it is free and only a few blocks away. Most of it is on the street, some is in a fairly large lot by the marina. Narrow streets, but they are two-way and fairly easy to get around. It’s basically one road in and one road out. Read reviews to find out how to get to the hotel, you go through the main square, pass La Casa Giulia on your right and as you are going through glance to the left and you’ll see a deep blue building, pull up in front of the church on the right just past the hotel alley, unload your stuff register and then take your car back. If you’re willing you can park first and then walk into town - despite the cobblestones and the reviews, it’s not that bad and most of it is paved as opposed to cobblestones. This town should be on your list if you are on the north coast of Spain and this hotel should certainly be on your shortlist. Everything was clean, the location is excellent and everything worked.
