Like at home

We spent the weekend at Los Colmenares and the truth is that it has been wonderful.
The hosts are very kind and friendly. The room was very comfortable, with very respectful and charming decor. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Everything necessary to feel like we were at home. Without a doubt, we will return!

The feeling of being in your own home.

Excellent cottage in every sense: location, rooms, cleanliness, service, attention and surroundings.
To the beauty of the house must be added that of the spacious rooms with bathroom and its exquisite decoration, extensive to that of the common areas.
You breathe tranquility and Rufi and Miguel are very friendly.
Don't miss breakfast! Varied and abundant.
In short, the closest thing to being in your own home.

Cottage fully recommended and to which we will return.

Excellent treatment, a very comfortable cottage with spacious en-suite and tastefully decorated rooms, homemade breakfast and pleasant common areas.
Rufo and Miguel always watch over us oriented in routes, places to visit and restaurants.

Another wonderful stay!

My husband and I first stayed at Casa Rural Los Colmenares in October 2021 and had been looking forward to returning with an additional guest: our 18 month old! Rufi and Miguel are wonderful hosts! We really appreciated all of their help, especially with offering to wash and dry our daughter's clothes after she got very car sick on our drive from Asturias to Cuzcurrita. This kind gesture meant so much to us! Our room was very spacious and perfect for the 3 of us. Breakfast was great! The fresh baked bread was delicious! We look forward to staying here again!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful house!

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The house is quaint, cozy, and charming, but above all, Miguel and Rufy are very warm and welcoming. I highly recommend to add breakfast as the town is small and there aren't many options available. Street parking is available near the house (around the main plaza), but on the weekends you'll need to park a couple of blocks away, which isn't a problem as there is plenty of street parking. There's a downstairs dining/gathering room where guests can relax by the fire in the evenings. Our room (#1) was very spacious. An iron and ironing board are available upon request.
