Motogp Jerez

For the last 3 years we've stayed here when we go to the motogp. Nice and clean, easy going and the food is great. It's a village, so great for a stopover as it's cheap too. The meal, a bottle of wine, coffee and liquors was less than 30€!!

A cozy place in a cute village

The room and the staff of the hostal were such that we decided to stay two instead of just one night.
The bathroom was adequately clean. The whole interior design manages to be traditional and simple without being fake or trashy.
The breakfast is at the bar downstairs, with fresh toasted bread and freshly made orange-juice.
They accepted pincer to pay with.
The only tiny detail I disliked was that the staff didn't speak a word of English (nor Italian, but that it's less of a requirement)! Luckily I had learnt some words before our trip, so I could kind of communicate with them.

We feel like home

The hosts are friendly, in a simple way. We feel directly welcomed and like home. There are regular customers and they are all speaking together, in a cool atmosphere.
We enjoyed the stay.
The room is clean but no view.

a step back in time

At this hostal you won't get a reception desk, a pool, large bedrooms with huge king size beds, a car park, surrounding silence or private dining. HOWEVER what you do get is a friendly welcome from the owner (sorry I 've forgotten your name), a lively local bar, super clean rooms, shower with lovely hot water, olde worlde beamed bedroom and ridiculously well priced evening meals. The lamb was superb and enough to feed 3!!! Booked for one night, stayed an extra night. Cost? A measly E34 B & B for 2, per night!!!!! Will return in the autumn.

Friendly Hotel

Our room was spacious, very clean and had a large bathroom. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The adjoining restaurant (Meson El Duque) was excellent value for money and had some very good local dishes on the menu, and again there was a really nice atmosphere, with a lot of local people eating and drinking there. Ideal for a short break and lovely walks in the Grazalema national park, and if you like a more traditional Spanish location. Great value for money.
