The hotel was more than adequate for our needs. Booked it at very short notice and checked in late on a Sunday afternoon. The lady behind the counter was very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and tidy. For the money we paid breakfast would have been nice, but not an issue. Would definitely stay again.

Room not soundproofed, on very noisy street

Very noisy room: throughout the night and until dawn, non-stop, you could hear cars whizzing by

Hotel a little run down. Clean. Staff helpful when we needed them. Parking very difficult. Elevator worked well. Plumbing very noisy in the walls. Local gathering outdoor area across the street which can be noisy at times. Walking distance to a beautiful beach.

I did not get info on how to get in and out of the hotel. The concierge is not always there! I had to ring my own taxi on leaving and it was difficult to re-access the building to pick up my baggage as I don't speak Spanish. The room was very tired in decor with multiple scrapes around the doors. It vibrated with the sound of the fridge (?). The only plus was the 6 minute walk to the beach. No breakfast. No snacks. Very basic.

Very poor communications and failure in booking system - led to lost reservation needing last minute booking elsewhere.

We didn’t actually get to stay. We tried to book on-line but got error messages indicating failure connecting to server. We tried several times. Got a message from hotel in Spanish asking us to pay to confirm reservation and proving a booking link. Got same error message. Emailed and copied the error message to hotel asking if we could pay on arrival. No response. Sent other emails including a message translated into Spanish, seeking clarification, no response. Called mobile number given in their earlier response. Person who answered spoke no English, didn’t announce that it was the hotel (checked the number called was correct). Tried phoning main switchboard fixed line number. Again person answering spoke no English - unable to help. Finally received answer to emails 4 days later saying if we haven’t been able to pay we had no reservation and now no availability. Thank you, very helpful!!!
