We recently stayed at **Aparto Diagonal Suites** in Barcelona for 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
The hotel is modern, clean, and offers spacious suites with a two-burner induction cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, cookware, and utensils, making it ideal for preparing simple meals. Our 18th-floor balcony provided spectacular panoramic views, especially at night. The staff were exceptional—friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Having a Lidl supermarket just a five-minute walk away was another major convenience.
There were a few drawbacks. The bathroom was quite small, and the hardwood headboard was easy to bump into. The hotel is also some distance from downtown Barcelona, so we relied on Uber, spending about $60–70 USD per day on transportation. There is no complimentary breakfast, and the high-tech elevator system can be a little confusing at first.
Despite these minor inconveniences, the excellent staff, modern accommodations, and beautiful views made for a wonderful stay. **Would we stay here again? Absolutely.**

Hotel was nice enough. However at 5am another guest starts shouting in the corridor and banging on other guests doors, including mine, waking everyone up. This went on for 30 mins. It then went quiet for around 45 mins and then it started again for a further 15 mins. The hotel should have removed the guest as it woke absolutely every guest on that floor.

Incredible noice due to high traffic speedway just in front ( forget using terrace /balcony)

Nice stay, but service could be better.
Nice, clean room with a beautiful view of the mountains and the city. Metro, tram, bus and the hop-on-hop-off bus were easily accessible and the parking garage (€20 per day) was well worth the money. Downsides were that the pool was very cold and had no sunbathing areas, the construction work next to the hotel, the limited cleaning that sometimes left us without toilet paper and a full trash can, and that the hotel was totally unreachable for questions before arrival.

My wife ordered room service. She waited, no food. She walked down to lobby, no phone in room, and the food was waiting there. No one told her that she had to pick it up. Room service I guess doesn’t mean service to your room. It was cold by then. After checking out we discovered that the hotel charged her credit card for the room even though we had paid in advance through Expedia. Sent several messages to the hotel but they will not respond. Is this typical in Spain or is this just a horrible hotel. I would not recommend staying there.
