If you are visiting the Picos I would recommend you stay here. It is just outside Potes but quiet and relaxing in a beautiful small village with lovely views over the valley. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were good,breakfast was excellent . There are points to charge your electric car and a beautiful pool. There is even a bodega on site selling very good wines

We truly enjoyed our stay. The room was well sized, clean, comfortable and beautiful views. The pool was refreshing after a day on the motorbike and it was very well kept. It’s a bit out of town but there is a restaurant about 15 minute walk at the bottom of the hill by the caravan park. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but there is a garden patio at the back with all meat cooked on an outdoor bbq. Was great. If you have a chance to Stay at Malvasia, do. It’s relaxing and great location from which to explore.

Beautiful hotel with a lovely owner! Maria was welcoming and very helpful with great restaurant recommendations and sites to visit. The pool and gardens are meticulously maintained and the hotel and rooms have wonderful charm and elegance!
We had a fabulous week in this stunning area with walks that gifted us with incredible views and we shall certainly be back as a week was just not long enough!

Nice stay in the mountains!
The hostel is both hotel and apartment building. We chose the hotel and had a sufficiently large room, albeit with idiosyncratic, very individual interior! The bed was good, the bathroom perfectly adequate and corresponds to a good three star house. We especially enjoyed the super breakfast with fresh, high-quality products, which was very lovingly prepared. Also nice is the small pool where you can rest very nicely after the activities of the day. Price/performance are overall very consistent. It is a small, personal house, you can enjoy the tranquility and the scenery well. Basically, in the location of the hotel you have to move the car both for the day trips and for the dinner going in the evening. Only a small restaurant is located on the main street below the restaurant, which is within walking distance. We liked it well, so we even went there twice. The grilled dishes are certainly worth highlighting here, as the meat was exceptionally good regionally and tastefully. We also visited the small distillery with guided tour, lasts about 1 hour, is free of charge and quite informative, even in English. Potes is a wonderful old place to visit. However, we experienced it as extraordinarily touristy and rather unfriendly, as we had the impression that the tourists, especially at the end of the season, were over.

The couple running this lovely place is doing a fantastic job.
The breakfast was soooo nice, it even included eggs from the chickens on the property.
The garden was stunning and well kept.
The location in the mountains just made it all come together in a perfect way.
If you can, go!
