lovely area
the hotel was lovely, the pool
was spacious with plenty of sun beds, the room was filled with exactly what we needed, however, the shower in our room would change from very hot to very cold by itself at times while using it and is also very tight. in the hotel, you are expected to take out your own bin bags which is not an issue, however they don’t supply you with bags in the room, we had to use shopping bags during our stay. besides from that, we had a lovely holiday and would come back

Cockroaches
Just home from a 5 night stay here. Check in was easy - our apartment wasn't ready so we left our bags and they called us when it was ready.
We had a one bed apartment with two sofa beds for our two kids.
I wouldn't be exceptionally fussy but my initial thoughts on entering the apartment were that it wasn't very clean. Within a short while of being in the apartment I found two cockroaches - one in the bathroom and one in the bedroom. I went to the supermarket below and bought repellant and traps and used them. I also emailed reception to let them know. In fairness, they came back to me very quickly and told me maintenance would go to the apartment and put traps into it. Later that night, I found more in the bathroom. I went straight to reception and in fairness to the girl on reception she was extremely helpful and told me she would move us into another empty apartment to sleep for the night and I could come back in the morning and speak to the manager. The second apartment had a ladies bra tag on the floor inside the door. The next morning I went to reception and was advised there's no need to speak to the manager and that he had instructed reception to move me into a nice corner apartment. I thought third time lucky but to my dismay there were cockroaches in the bathroom and kitchen presses of the third apartment. I resigned myself to the fact that no matter where I moved there would probably be cockroaches. The cleanliness in the apartments left a lot to be desired. I found crisps on the floor behind the sofa beds and hair/stains/dust in various places.
On the positive side, the location of the apartments is brilliant. Within walking distance of the train station, beach, a great supermarket just downstairs. The pool is very nice too and the snack bar at the pool was nice.
Overall, it was a very disappointing stay. I would've got over the cleanliness issues but the cockroaches were just outrageous. The manager never contacted me or checked in to see if everything was okay and when I checked out I was never asked if everything was ok.

awful. wouldn’t kennel my dog here.
me and my family arrived at this hotel today, we got to our room (1106), stains on the bed and on the floor (they were a reddish brown colour) the bathroom stunk of old pee which means it had not been cleaned, checked in today at around 12 oclock we checked out by 2. wouldn’t even kennel my dog in this place. awful.
wifi would only work in the room and not anywhere else in this hotel which is shocking. we waited around 10 minutes for a lift to get to our room, pool area was disgraceful the floor was dirty there was no room, the noise level in this hotel was quite quiet, there was a few people shouting but not too much, the hotel is located in a very quiet backstreets which is a little bit sketchy and around 5 minutes from central Fuengirola. the atmosphere was horrific and i would never dream of staying again, it felt like a crime scene hotel it gave them sort of vibes, not too mention on how it looked nothing like the pictures. so disappointed.

We won't be back
Location didn't really suit us but that was our fault. It was well equipped apartment but unfortunately the cleaniness was the worst we ever experienced. When we arrived our bathroom floor had not been cleaned from previous occupants. There was a strong smell of urine,as there was a mop on the balcony I said id mop it out with cleaning liquid,then the mop was filthy with cigarettes butts. There was a toilet roll gone yellow down the back of the toilet,the cleaners came in every three days to change beds and towels but that was it. We were asked to take our waste to the bins outside which we did but we never received any more bin liners. There was a tooth pick on the stairs for a whole week and still there the morning we left. The pool was closed on Sunday for most of the day. There was no water for shower early mornings. The towels that were left some days were torn and worn. The pillows must be years old and cases are way to big for them,I was afraid to even look at the pillows without the case. It's a pity it's lacking the cleaning . I couldn't recommend and we go to funergolia each year but we will never return to these apartments.

Ruined by the restaurant downstair
Just returned home after a weeks stay from here and rated 3 starts average as there were a number of good points and bad points.
The good points were that it was close proximity to Los Boliches train station, 5 minutes walk away so saved us 80 euro in a taxi from airport ( BEWARE OF PICKPOCKETS ON TRAIN, No fault of hotel, but my wife had purse stolen on train).
Everywhere from shops, restaurants, bars and even beach are all close by so easy to walk too.
The hotel are huge and come as self catering apartments so come with everything you need , cooker, microwave, toaster, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher etc.
The pool is lively and open daily from 10am -8pm and some days we didnt get down there till lunch time but sun beds were always available.
However , fresh towels and bedding are only twice a week, rooms are bit dated and our toilet seat was hanging off.
Don't mistake what I did for the naurisal bar and restaurant downstairs as part of the hotel, as its separate and the older guy that either owns or runs it is a complete to$$er who told me to go to my room because I was sitting on one of his seats after I purchased food from his restaurant with my eyes closed just enjoying the sun, on another occasion he refused to let my stepson use the toilet which again was after we had a huge lunch at his, he actually probably ruined our experience at the hotel for us with his attitude.
I dont thinknid try here again just because the only place in the apartment block you could eat or drink was that restaurant.
