Good stay in Gandia
I stayed this weekend for two nights at the hotel. Hotel with an excellent location, the beach is two minutes away. They gave us the room right away, which is appreciated. We had half board and could choose whether we wanted lunch or dinner. The reception staff was very friendly, and the dining room manager was super nice, a lovely girl. The breakfast is great; there are a lot of options. We had lunch, and it was also very good; there were plenty of options and good quality. Consuming at the hotel café on the terrace is not expensive considering it is a hotel; for example, a third of Heineken is $2.50, a drink is $6.50... The room is spacious, the bathroom has a shower, and it has a nice terrace with a table and two chairs. The pool is not very large, but with the beach right there, we hardly used it. The hotel is very nice; more than a 3-star, it seems like a 4-star. We liked it a lot. The quality-price ratio is excellent. There is plenty of parking around the hotel, and it is free.

Recommended, but there is room for improvement.
The hotel facilities are very good in terms of common areas and spacious rooms.
The restaurant staff is very attentive and friendly. We had to ask several times for them to change the mini fridge in the room because it was not working; although the maintenance person said it was, the walls were warm and it did not keep things cold, quite the opposite. Once they changed it, everything was perfect. The coffee service leaves much to be desired; it is clear that the staff lacks experience and they move around like headless chickens... there were hardly any customers, yet it took 20 minutes for them to serve us coffee, and after that, the waiter came to ask if we wanted anything else. Another day we ordered a gin and tonic and a soda, and they brought the soda in a bottle, without a glass. I asked for a glass with ice for the soda, and after a long wait without receiving the glass, another different waiter came and asked us if we were being charged... and what about my glass??? This is during the low season; we will see how they manage when the bulk of customers arrives.
Overall, we were comfortable except for a few specific moments, but that is due to unqualified staff for working in a hotel of this category.

Very human
I had to cancel a reservation with only 24 hours' notice due to my mother-in-law's hospital admission, and not only did they not charge me cancellation fees, but they also sent someone to inquire about her condition. Worthy of mention. They have undoubtedly gained a customer.

Travelling from Barcelona to Alicante I stopped for the night in Gandia. Booked a last minute reservation the room was very musty so I opened the door to get some fresh air which only helped a little bit in the morning. I woke up and I had fight all over my body at least 30. I thought it was mosquitoes because I had left the door open for a bit before I went to bed, however, after going to the pharmacy because they were getting worse, I was diagnosed with bedbugs. I am bitten all over my arms, my back and my legs. Do not recommend this hotel whatsoever stay away from it and stay away from musty rooms. I am still recovering from bedbugs. It’s been four days and I look like a pin cushion.

Good choice of Inn
Stayed for a week mid-June as a couple in full board, almost the same Award as in 1/2 board. Pension a little set back from the beach, one-way streets on each side so little noise, possibility to park (not paying) in the street without turning to find a place. It's probably not the same in July/August.
Reception staff, food hall and polite and helpful rooms. Room on the 6th floor, 3 elevators so little waiting even at meal times.
Room on the back of the Pension at our request for quiet, spacious, good bedding, balcony, large shower, air conditioning, large tv, storage.
Various Spanish food (meat/fish/vegetables) buffet, large room a little noisy depending on whether there are skunks or not. Classic sweet/savory breakfast. Antonio welcomes you in French, English, Spanish and others to choose from with a smile and good humor.
In conclusion, Good Inn, complete over this period with a very correct full board rate, which allows to choose meals taken on site or elsewhere.
