Nice place for surfers
Among those running the hostel, there were very nice people and others who were not as pleasant.
There was a scheduled activity for both days I stayed, and it was not held on either day.
Surfing was good thanks to a very friendly volunteer who helped me. He acted as an instructor.
The cleaning was very good and the breakfast was also quite good.
Overall, the experience was good.

Extremely Disappointing Experience at This Hostel
The biggest issue was the breakfast. Nowhere was I clearly informed that breakfast would only be served between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. I have stayed in countless hotels and hostels in many countries, and I have never come across such an impractical breakfast schedule. I was attending a conference and had to leave every morning before 9:00, which meant I missed breakfast every single day despite paying for it. Selling breakfast that most business travellers cannot possibly use feels like a scam.
What made the situation even worse was the complete lack of management. I raised this issue several times, but there was never a manager available to speak to. The hotel seemed to be run almost entirely by volunteers who were unable to make decisions or take responsibility. One of them promised to discuss my complaint with the manager and get back to me, but nobody ever did. Throughout my entire stay, my questions were simply ignored. I don't accept any excuses after the fact because they had an entire week to address the issue and chose not to.
The hotel itself was also incredibly noisy. Groups of young guests were laughing, shouting, and talking loudly until at least 1:00 a.m. every night.
The facilities were also inadequate. On the third floor there was one private room and several shared rooms, yet everyone had to share just one toilet and one bathroom. There were no towels provided and security was minimal.
Overall, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. Poor communication, non-existent management, noisy surroundings, and inadequate facilities made the stay extremely frustrating. I hope the manager reads this review and, at the very least, compensates me for the breakfasts that I paid for but was never able to use because of their unreasonable arrangements.
