Arrival to Andalusia
This was our very first hotel during our week in Andalusia, Spain and while I enjoyed it I must admit I had a bit higher hopes... we arrived pretty late to a hot underground one way garage, we took an elevator to the main floor just to find out that there is no bar at the hotel, and that the pool will be closing soon - so that wasn't the "start" I was hoping for.
The rooms we got were decent, though very hot - the A/C took ages to cool them down a bit. Also, I didn't quite follow the setup - my parents of 2 got the room with a separate lounge bed, whereas my room for 1 person had 2 doubles beds + 3rd extra one... not that was an issue but perhaps a mix up? What was painful though were the doggies... don't get me wrong I love dogs, I adore them but this was the first time in my life that I realized why not all hotels are dog friendly... the dogs in other rooms were barking quite heavily... over night it was OK but during the day any person passing their room in the hallway attracted immediate reaction :/
Even though there was no bar, it was possible to get a beer from the restaurant in the evening along with some food and snacks + selection of wines - so don't get discouraged the way I got at first - the staff here and at breakfast was super friendly, the biggest asset of the hotel!
Breakfast was fairly basic but the best part was the outside courtyard to enjoy the fresh air in the morning - July in the shade it was perfectly fine.
As for the location - we didn't really get to explore anything around as we arrived late and the very next morning left for Alhambra but driving around I can say it was not too far from the San Miguel Alto viewpoint - fairly straight forward and easy drive.

good accommodation
We stayed two nights at this hotel which is modern and clean. Quite large room simply furnished (a then 'uncomfortable low table to work on the computer). Good wi-fi. Comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet in the norm. Convenient location close enough to the center.All in all a good accommodation

One night stop over
Enjoyed our trip to Granada and our stay at this hotel which is situated ideally for exploring, the rooms are spacious and clean , check in was painless , staff were very friendly , the only downside as I could say was that they could do with some comfy chairs in the bar area , they were a little uncomfortable.

More of a three-star hotel
The hotel is located a bit outside the city center. However, everything is easily accessible by taxi. 5-6 euros to the cathedral, for example.
The hotel has a nice pool on the
roof. Unfortunately, it has very limited opening hours, which is really very annoying to see.
The hotel does not have a proper restaurant or a bar. It really only serves for sleeping.
The breakfast was definitely not recommended.
Cold, disorganized, nothing is cleared away, and the price-performance ratio is not right at all.
At the reception, they are friendly and the rooms are fine.
For a four-star hotel, that is one star too many.
Price-wise, however, the stay was fine.
