A wonderful hotel in a great location. Turn left out of the door and Mirador de San Nicolás is 100 m away, turn right and there is a lovely plaza with some nice bars and restaurants. Also near the hotel is a bus stop where the buses do circular routes to Granada centre and Alhambra.
Hotel building is 16/17th century based around an open courtyard. Room was very nicely decorated in a traditional style and has everything you could need. breakfast was very good, not an 'All inclusive' style mass of beans and sausages but a nicely selected array of fresh local, and in some case homemade, delights. Id recommend trying the homemade marmalade.
When we arrived we were giving fantastic information on the local area and how to get around.
Hopefully we'll be fortunate enough to return at some time.

Charming family-owned hotel
My second stay in this charming family-owned hotel, and I would gladly return for a 3rd. The staff- both Lolas, Rafael, and Ingo are amazing. A yummy breakfast is included, and the location is perfect- a few steps from the square overlooking the Alhambra. Delicious restaurants are nearby, also with views of the Alhambra. The hotel booked our flamingo show and our Alhambra tour.

Stay in a 17th century Moorish house in the Albacín
Hotel Santa Isabel La Real is a fantastically well-situated hotel in the Albacín, the old district of Granada. You feel privileged to stay in an authentic Moorish house in Granada. The welcome is very friendly and helpful. The indications to park the car received by WhatsApp together with photographs were very useful. The bus stop to the Alhambra is just outside the hotel and the Mirador de San Nicholas which offers you a fantastic viewpoint on the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada is just a stone throw away. Hotel San Isabel La Real has to be the best place to stay in Granada to experience the atmosphere of this enchanting town.

It's not what I was hoping for for a fare this high.
Very welcome in this charming boutique hotel;
Very good location on the hill in the old town, the view from our room on the 2nd floor was superb.
Close to the perfect garage.
Not much abundance at breakfast.
Indeed, we paid more than 990 euros for 3 nights, with the night of December 31, , and for this price, I expected better: the room is small, the bed is soft, the bathroom narrow.
There is no justification for such a tariff.
Too bad.

The room was lovely, with a little sitting area and the hosts were incredibly kind. It’s a family owned and run place and they are delightful. One of us was sick during the stay, which is never fun, and the hosts were willing to go out of their way to help. If you are coming by car pay close attention to the arrival directions. Driving a car in the Albaicín is no joke!
