Beautiful restored farmhouse in the hills above Granada

A wonderful, relaxed break in the beautiful hills near Granada. Lovely walks, yoga (equipment provided too), with teaching to your own level, kindness and good humour from Sara! Moclín has a typical Andalucian feel and an amazing hilltop castle and is easy walking distance. Upesh made the most wonderful food, we were immersed in a beautiful bubble for a few days and sad to leave!

A gem in Andalusia

We arrived and were given a lovely tapas and drinks in the shade of the vines . Upesh and Sara were very friendly and attentive. The rooms were beautifully clean, well appointed with great style. Each morning we did yoga whilst Upesh made the most wonderful breakfast. Eating breakfast on the roof top terrace over looking mountains full of olive trees is an exhilarating experience and certainly sets you up for the day. There are many beautiful towns and cities to explore and walks to be done . We left feeling very healthy, relaxed and happy

THE BEST!

This is how hospitality should be done...from a beaming welcoming smile before you are even out of the car, good food in a beautiful house with fantastic views and fun conversations .....to a return visit within 4 days. The perfect escape!

What a fantastic place to stay - such amazing sunset views from the rooftop terrace, comfortable, clean accommodation and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! There’s a bus into Granada and a lovely old historical village to explore as well as great countryside for walks and picnics. We had such a lovely time and the owners were extremely sweet and made us feel very special! It was a great mini break — we would have loved to have stayed longer!

Yoga retreat at New Leaf Cortijo

I had the pleasure of staying at New Leaf Cortijo for four days with my, yoga teacher daughter. New leaf is set in the most beautiful countryside surrounded by olive groves & mountains. As soon as we arrived we both felt that we were honoured guests / family. Sarah & Upesh made us so welcome; i don't think i've ever stayed somewhere where i've felt so included & looked after by the hosts. The Cortijo is beautiful, the rooms were clean with everything you could need, kettle, towels, blankets etc The relaxed atmosphere was enhanced further by the superb cooking, Upesh created the most delicious vegan food for us, i also had more mainstream cuisine, equally superb & also prepared by Upesh. We had a few swims in the outdoor pool, explored the local walks and were led by Sarah on a fantastic excursion down through a stunning Gorge (Gollizno) where we saw 2 Iberian Ibex walking along the mountainside then straight across the path in front of us. I can't recommend New Leaf enough, we'll be coming back many times now we've found this hidden gem.
