Worst hotel

Please read this review , it’s an honest review from someone who has stayed here a few times over the years…..but never again. The decline in this hotel over last 2 yrs is beyond measure. The air conditioning if you actually get it in your room ( the couple we went with were without it for 4 days, with lie after lie told by reception staff !! ). Is beyond useless. Its as hot in the room as it is outside.Even the restaurant is hot with guests huddling round the air conditioning unit in the mainly deserted restaurant, due to poor food selection. No ice cream at lunch time …..They take the handle away from the ice cream machine !!! No cocktails on the all inclusive. We stayed from 12- 21 July ‘26…… The situation with the air conditioning has been reported since early June and I told Jet 2 about it , as the issue is registered in their website about the hotel in the reviews. They just said they’re aware it’s a serious issue, but continue to send people to the sweltering hotel rooms……Read the above and make your own decision.

Dear Guest,
Your comments are important to us; thank you for sharing.
We apologise for the discomfort caused as we increase the air flow during this harsh heat wave. While we certainly appreciate return guests comming back to their old aquaintances and familiar enviroment it is only reasonable that between seasons services might change, moreso when a new hotel chain tries to set up itself. You mention cocktails being taken off but the very ice cream machine you mention, along with the chocolate fountain are aditions we did not have in 2025. Services can and do change with time.
It would be a pleasure to welcome you back for a better time.
Best regards,

No air conditioning

Arrived at 10.30 but didn’t let you check in until after 3. By the time we checked in gone 5 o’clock we were then told the air conditioning was broken. It was 34 degrees. Asked for a fan and eventually got one at 10. 20pm. Found out the air conditioning had been broken for 3 weeks and it’s going to be another 3, to get fixed!!!
Lift feels like it’s going to break down. Shower is pitiful.
Breakfast included but the cereal was stale and hard. Bacon looked raw.
Went for breakfast elsewhere.
Lovely resort but think twice about booking this hotel.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for letting us know about your concerns.
We sincerely apologize that your experience fell short of expectations. Our check-in begins at 15:00, and we regret any inconvenience with your room preparation timeline. While the recent heatwave has brought exceptionally high temperatures, which have affected the efficiency of our air conditioning system, we are doing our utmost to ensure our guests' comfort. We've also noted your observations about the dining experience and bathroom facilities, which we'll review with the relevant teams to uphold our standards.
We hope that we may have the occasion to welcome you back for a better experience.
Best regards,

Lack of air conditioning ruined our experience at this hotel

My wife and I have just come back from a 3 day stay over the weekend. I would recommend to really consider booking at this hotel. For the most part it’s good, but no better than that. But the worst part is the air-con. Please pay attention to these reviews. It is as bad as people are saying! The air-con units are designed for a house. They can no provide the power needed to cool this hotel. My wife and I lasted just 1 night. We went to the hotel behind (leonardo royal) and paid £400 for 2 nights just so we could sleep. The whole point of our trip was to have a weekend just the two of us without the kids so to go home on no sleep would’ve made the whole trip almost pointless. The food is ok to good…. I was fine with it. The pool is also nice until I realised it had died anything we wore that was white to green! ( see photos) Please be aware of this. My recommendation would be to avoid this hotel if you want a good rest. Es Cana as a whole is incredible! Really enjoyed our weekend and would recommend getting the ferry to Ibiza town

Dear Guest,
Thank you very much for your review.
Your feedback on the air-con and pool has been shared with our teams.
In regards to clothing turning green its not our chlorine levels which are too high or low but how it reacts to body lotions, solar cremes. With the unforgiving sun and temperatures we have had during this heat wave it is only logic people will try to protect themselves with more sun creme. This then gets into our clothing and can end up reacting.
We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back again in the future.
Kind regards,

AVOID THIS HOTEL

Avoid this hotel,2nd time here we stayed here for 8 nights, terrible experience no aircon in the rooms hardly slept while we was there.we complained and asked for a fan serval times which we was told there was none, finally on our last night at the hotel we was given a small fan after arguing with them. We also reported the shower and pretty much got told its the way it is.freezer 1 minute & the next its boiling hot not ideal with a child! We went all inclusive, no cocktails available, coke and orange is bogging and just tastes like soda..
The baby pool had to much chlorine init and dyed our clothes and my hair green! The food was terrible and all tasted the same.
Postive note the entertainment staff was lovely! We wont be back to coral beach but we will visit es canar again as a family.

Dear Becca,
Thank you for sharing your opinion about your time at our hotel.
We're glad the entertainment team stood out positively. We apologize for the air-conditioning issues you experienced during the heatwave and have shared your feedback on dining with the teams. In regards to your chlorine comment just to state that when you mentioned this with us at the Hotel we inmediatly sent a technician to check this and this was done right in front of you. The pool had the correct chlorine levels and we showed you this. We have no idea where you might have gotten those stains from but it was not us and no one else aside you had any issue with this.
We certainly hope that we can welcome you back again.

Disappointing

We came back again and it wasn’t great, the food is beyond dire, we ended up eating out quite a lot, which isn’t great when you’ve paid for all inclusive, they restricted a lot of the drinks and no icecream for the kids.
Entertainment was a tad poor and lacklustre
Probably won’t come back, which is a shame as the location works just the food was so bad and the drinks was limited

Dear Natasha,
We value your input and the points you’ve raised.
We are glad that you gave the old Coral Beach another shot. The only drinks that got affected this season are the cocktails. The rest is just as always. Surprised thatn you did not like our entretainment team as they collect so far only praise amongst our guests
We certainly hope that we can welcome you back again.
Best regards,
