Absolutely loved this hotel! Best hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed staying here.
Fabulous location with great staff that are so welcoming, friendly, attentive and hard working.
It really felt like a home from home - we paid for a sea view room and it didn’t disappoint, the room and bathroom was recently refurbished and they were very comfortable. Balcony was very big with the line to dry your clothes and towels on with a table and chairs. View was spectacular. The room came with a fridge and we asked for a kettle which we obtained from reception.
Hotel is in a great location as it’s right on the promenade with easy access to the sea, shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel also has a lovely flow and is laid out well.
It was a quiet and chilled hotel with plenty of sun beds. The outside pool was lovely and there was an in door pool too. The hotel also has a gym.
There was evening entertainment most nights which the guests enjoyed. We went out some nights and reception called us a taxi which was arrived quickly.
Was very impressed with breakfast (8am to 10am), lots to choose from and you can have freshly cooked omelettes too. We didn’t eat dinner at the hotel but the menu looked good and we had lunch at hotel which was really good.
Out the front of the hotel is the perfect spot to have a drink and watch the sunset.
We brought our own towels for the pool and beach as these aren’t supplied.
The rooms were kept very clean and the housekeeping staff work really hard and the cleanliness is to a high standard. The housekeeping staff were really friendly.
There are plenty of shops and supermarkets near by for water etc.
Will definitely be returning to this super hotel, was very impressed, thank you for having us and helping make our holiday so memorable and special.

Lovely hotel with fabulous staff , great food and excellent location
Great pool area, top marks for cleanliness, lovely staff , really nice food and lovely clean modern and spacious room. Right opposite the beach and walking distance into town!

Great location on the beach. Beautiful renovated rooms. Breakfast and dinner is top notch and the service is great. Dutch Receptionist Eva friendly and helpful and especially our star Merzel. Have now been there for the 2nd time and we will definitely be back there again.

Great hotel!
We are used to holidays with half board or all-inclusive, but Hotel Arenal has far exceeded our expectations. Despite the three stars, the stay felt like a higher level hotel.
The food was delicious, varied and prepared with great care every day. Everything was fresh and tasteful. Also the rooms were neat and clean, with daily fresh towels.
The friendly staff and good service made our stay complete. As far as we are concerned, Hotel Arenal certainly deserves a fourth star. We would love to come back again. Highly recommended!
