Large hotel, nothing more

It is a large, modern hotel near the citadel and the city center. The location is ideal, the rooms are decent with what is needed, but that is where it ends. Do not expect bowing and scraping from the front desk; they give you the bare minimum of information. It cruelly lacks warmth and charm, but well, for spending one night, it will do. Between 110 and 130 euros for a double room with breakfast (a darn well-stocked buffet, it will delight the Pantagruels on duty!). Small parking lot not to be used with your big Hummer-version SUV, because it might get a bit tight. You will have to fall back on the two public parking lots a 2-minute walk away (nothing to make a fuss about!). The classic rooms benefit from a balcony, but are noisy because they face the street (quite busy). In terms of soundproofing, it's more like kraft paper; you can almost hear your neighbor using the bathroom (not very glamorous, you will agree!). Avoid the hotel restaurant, it's mediocre and there are plenty of good little bistros in town. In short, in the absence of anything else, it will do....!

Hotel recommended for spending a few days

Hotel in accordance with its three stars
The room is somewhat small but the bed is very comfortable, mattress firmness is perfect, as is the lighting; it has a small balcony that overlooks a pool with grass, perfectly maintained, and lounge chairs
The bathroom is decent, somewhat small, but the fixtures are modern, the shower has good water pressure and the hot water comes out right away, it has a hairdryer and a magnifying mirror
The common areas were recently renovated and everything is very well maintained
The elevators that go up to the floors are perhaps a bit small
In short, a totally recommended hotel to spend a few days

Return my shoes!

stayed here with my team. while the hotel was fine, i have been trying to contact them since we left as a pair of expensive shoes were left behind. They dont pick up their phones, they dont answer to emails. They have basically stolen these shoes bevause they wont return them or even communicate with us.
