Terrible customer reception.

I have never been received so poorly at a hotel; the person who attended us did not look us in the eye at any moment, said just enough to complete the information he needed, and when we asked where we could park the car, he referred us to read a sign they had at the entrance. We give a zero for customer reception. Room with a view of a courtyard and average breakfast.

It does not offer a three-star hotel service.

During our stay, we encountered a rather deficient situation. The location of the hotel is excellent for exploring Jaén on foot, but several details ended up detracting from comfort. We were surprised that the cost of the stay was charged several days before arrival without prior notification. One of the problems with this hotel is the lack of information at the reception. The breakfast hours are quite limited for those on vacation, as it ends at 9:30, and it is also necessary to notify in advance of the intention to have breakfast. The first room assigned to us had some maintenance and equipment issues: a detached wardrobe bar, absence of a refrigerator, lack of hooks or hangers in the bathroom, and absence of a bidet. We also suffered from a repetitive noise at night that we eventually confirmed was coming from the blinds hitting against the window frame due to the wind. Additionally, there is a checkout time of 11:00 and a cleaning service with a rather restricted schedule. However, when we returned to the hotel, we were assigned a better room, more well-kept and in line with expectations. Overall, the feeling was not one of a bad stay, but rather an accumulation of small inconveniences that could be easily corrected and would greatly improve the customer experience.

This was by far one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The staff asked for credit card numbed over WhatsApp before I even arrived. Nobody told me there wouldn’t be hot water until I found out myself and asking, the room was disgusting, smelled of smoke, trash and standing water in the shower from the previous guest. Somehow the room was blistering hot despite it being December and the AC didn’t work.

Sober and well-kept transit hotel (good for 1 night)

Located on the outskirts of the city, within walking distance of downtown and restaurants. Parking of the hotel only suitable for small cars but cooperation with parking further (300 m ). Breakfast adequate but limited in choice.
