SCAM
It was a real scam, I arrived at the hotel at 1:00 PM and they told me I couldn't check in until 2:00 PM. Since I had a celebration, I told them I would arrive at night and they told me there was no problem. When I arrived at 11:00 PM, they told me with all the calmness in the world that I couldn't stay at the hotel because they didn't have the room available and that they had booked me another room at a different hotel. I couldn't believe it, and all this while I was with a 3-year-old child. Of course I filed a complaint, one of the people who works there with coldness and a half-smile tells me that they can't do anything and I have to leave. After the logical argument, I went to the other hotel they had booked for me, and the surprise again: there are boarding houses better than that hotel, which I won't name because they aren't to blame either. I even had breakfast paid for at the Trafalgar hotel and of course I couldn't enjoy it. So with everything paid for, they scammed me by sending me to facilities of very poor quality...SCAM

Don't think about staying here
Unfortunate, vomiting, dirty, uncomfortable beds, paper walls, cockroaches, non-existent isolation, noisy taps, absent receptionist... not free return.

Hotel Torrente or Trafalgar?
As soon as we arrive, we are given a 1 bed room of 135cm, when our reservation was 2 adults and one child. The receptionist tells us that there are no more rooms, when we complain about our reservation suddenly a quadruple room appears.
Tables and desk with stains and scratches, the toilet when sitting moves. Stained walls...
The only good thing is the location. Basic breakfast.

I'm not coming back.
When I arrived, the receptionist was absent.
The room only had a window to the interior light yard, the shower water leaks throughout the bathroom, the bathroom door could not be closed

Visit to Jerez in poor standard 3*
Entered the hotel and the reception area gave a good impression despite poor reviews. We were given keys to our room. On the face if it the room was ok. On further investigation, only two bedside lamps worked, bathroom light also worked. The smoke alarm was broken and we were unable to use the safe. I reported these to reception straight away, advised maintenance would deal with the next day. Unfortunately they didn't. The shower was so powerful, I washed the bathroom when I turned it on. Breakfast was ok, there was a reasonable selection but the eggs looked half cooked. I feel sorry for the staff. They have to deal with dissatisfied customers continuously. Staff in general were courteous and helpful. I did not like the entrance to the hotel whuch was by a switch operated by reception. One afternoon we were left 5 minutes outside in sweltering heat before staff came to open the door. The parent company needs to take attention otherwise this hotel will become a ghost building. All it needs is updating the rooms and allowing guests to come and go by fob key. We had stayed in a 2 star property the previous two days in another city. Comparing standards, this hotel I would just about rate this as 1 star. Unfortunate as the hotel is very close to most attractions.
