Lalin's Cooked Party

Weekend in Lalin, to celebrate its Lalin Cooking Festival, declared of international tourist interest, cold, rainy, but very beautiful.
The stay in Pazo de Bendoiro, simply IMPRESSIVE!
The building, from the 18th century, is wonderful, in a place that leaves you speechless.
As soon as you entered a chapel, a porticoed corridor, an imperial staircase, the beautiful lobby, the home, with its huge fireplace with large logs lit gave it a familiar atmosphere and it felt warmth of home.
The room, very spacious, very clean, the King bed comfortable and the bathroom very well too.
The breakfast ... pantagruélico!! they serve it at the table, there was no more and they wanted to continue bringing things!!, cold cuts, peeled and chopped fruits, coffees, hard boiled egg, homemade yogurt with honey from the area, juice, Galician kiwis, homemade cake, cake ...
We came completely satisfied.

What a wonderful warm and welcoming greeting from Lucy and Mar when we arrived. The whole experience exceeded any expectations. We just wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed all of the beautiful and quirky areas inside and outside this hotel. The building is very old, full of character, charm and history. The photos just don't do it any justice at all. The restaurant too was exceptional with Alejandra and Rosa looking after us. The food was delicious both lunch and brekafast. Everyone we met on the team during our short stay went out of their way infact over and above any expectations. What a happy stay!

A perfect place to enjoy a good meal.

The food is excellent, homemade, abundant and with fresh and top quality produce, they do not work catering which is rating in the taste. The bake is very good, without doubt the best I have tasted. An experience to repeat!

It is a celebration site, and the stays are secondary to the establishment.

It is very nice and tastefully decorated, and very well maintained. They're very kind. We were friends. We ordered a large room for extra bed, and they put it in a normal one despite going all in a group. To get to my bed I had to jump suitcases because of the lack of space. For breakfast, you must advise the day before the time you want to have breakfast. To eat there, you must give at least 24 hours notice. "Military" planning while on vacation? When there is a celebration, you can not use the pool because they give it for the event. If there's a celebration, you've got everybody talking, yelling and drinking under your window. Impossible to rest. Of the 4 or 5 days we were there were celebrations in two. In the end, not an apology for the inconvenience, not a reduction for the decrease in services and tranquility. Before you go, not a warning about these extremes. If we'd known, we'd have chosen somewhere else.

It was my second time there, I was at a wedding on July 5 and the truth all spectacular and to the smallest detail. Especially noteworthy is a waitress in particular (Nieves) who in addition to being very professional was a charmer and very friendly. He was cutting ham the whole time at appetizers and then serving in the dining room. It is nice to find such workers with a smile always despite the heat or the circumstances. Thank you
